About

Mike Rosenberg, known better as Passenger, is a British singer/songwriter quickly impacting the folk-rock scene with his earnest and introspective lyrics. Passenger was formerly a band fronted by Rosenberg that released a number of albums before the band members parted ways. Rosenberg continued with the name, and his latest release, All the Little Lights, is a folk-rock, indie-pop album filled with songs of loss, love, and hope. Critics have praised Rosenberg for his charming and unique voice, poignant yet witty lyrics, and an album that feels fleshed out with additional strings, brass, and restrained percussion. Storming up the Billboard Hot 100, the single “Let Her Go” is a charming, whimsical, and lyrically remorseful song about a relationship in retrospect. Rosenberg supported fellow Englishman Ed Sheeran for most of 2012 before embarking on his first US headlining tour in summer 2013. Concertgoers applaud Rosenberg for his intimate one-man-band shows, raw talent, and charming banter. With tickets selling out for shows across Europe and Australia, fans anticipate an unfaltering music career ahead for this talented singer/songwriter.

It was like going to a rave except where the music is a very engaging and charismatic songwriter playing acoustic guitar and stomping the floor. Just brilliant!

One of the Best Concerts I've Ever Been To!

by Kfedor on 2013-11-18The Pheonix - Toronto

Mike was beyond wonderful, he talked to the crowd like we were all friends. The silence in the room was powerful, when he sang you could hear every tone in his voice. The crowd was respectful and didn't yell out during his set. I've seen him twice now, and left both times with my cheeks sore from smiling so much. The stories he tells about the songs and his experiences travelling are both inspiring and funny, and his way of telling them is thoroughly entertaining. Even though he was sick during his last concert, he made an effort to come out and see his fans, take pictures with them and sign autographs. Not many artists do that anymore, so it was greatly appreciated!

Passenger was amazing! One of the BEST concerts I have ever attended. Heart felt lyrics and beautiful acoustic music, what's not to love? He sounds as amazing live as he does on his CD. Hilarious guy with an amazing musical talent. I would see him one hundred more times. Great show, definitely worth the money!

    Intimate and Wonderful

by JSDOIT on 2013-08-16The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Great concert! 2nd time to watch a man that truly loves what he does. Toronto loves him and each year he comes back the love will grow and grow. Mike his great at drawing people in to his songs through stories beforehand and drawing people in to participate in songs as well as command them to be silent so they can take in his music and lyrics. Please catch him next time and learn his music beforehand for a great night out.
