It isn’t often that one concert ticket allows you to witness two groundbreaking artists share the stage. That’s why when Paul Simon and Sting announced that they were embarking on a tour together, excitement for the event was sky high. Not only will the two living legends perform together, but they’ll also treat the crowd to separate solo sets of their classic tunes. Both artists and their immensely talented backing bands are famed for delivering masterful live performances utilizing multi-ethnic instrumentation and world rhythms inspired by music around the globe. Paul Simon, of course first made his mark as an American songwriting legend as one half of the duo Simon and Garfunkle, yielding timeless classics like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Scarborough Fair” and “Sounds of Silence.” He embarked on a successful solo career and produced the critically acclaimed albums One Trick Pony and Graceland among others, as well as the hits “Slip Slidin’ Away,” “Still Crazy After All these Years” and “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” Sting first gained international attention as the lead singer, songwriter, and bass player of ‘80s rock band The Police—a groundbreaking act that produced a string of hit songs, including “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Message In a Bottle,” “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.” Like Paul Simon, Sting also enjoys a phenomenally successful solo career which has spanned decades, releasing acclaimed albums including Nothing Like the Sun, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, and Ten Summoner’s Tales, and topping the charts with hits like “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” “Fields of Gold” and “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You.” Needless to say, demand for Paul Simon and Sting tour tickets is high, as they’ll gain lucky fans access to what is sure to be an unforgettable concert experience.

We went for the artists and the music and were not disappointed. Kudows to the sound reinforcement people. We were sitting fairly high at ACC, and the sound was crystal clear without any annoying echo or reverb. This was probably the best quality sound I've encountered in a long time. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening - as someone else said, it could have gone on for another hour without bothering anyone.
For weeks before seeing the concert all I could think about what what are they going to play. By the end of the night it was more like wow, what didn't they play. The melding of their two voices, their music and the genuine joy of working together was magical to experience. Each did two solo sets bound together with several combo sets where they tackled some of their most famous songs with new and interesting arrangements. Clearly no lip-synching here. For 2:40 they rocked the house and gave us all we could ask for and more. I would recommend everyone to see this show as it makes it's way around North America.
Paul Simon and Sting together - what more an 80-s girl could wish for? Paul sounds the same he did 30 years ago, Sting's vocals are amazing. Never thought he could manage "Bridge over troubled water"!
Best concert that I have ever been too - the stage was fill with true musicians Awesome
On the surface this seemed like an unusual combination - but it worked! Sting has the charisma and Paul Simon the charm. Each song in the concert had a new interesting arrangement. The back-up musicians were perhaps the most talented and versatile I have ever seen. When the drummer picked up a guitar and did a Chet Atkins solo I was more than surprised and blown away. It took the technicians two songs to figure out the ACC accoustics but after that the sound was outstanding. If this was not the best concert I have been to and it may have been - it was definitely in my top three. Could be a last chance to see Paul Simon live given his age (not that he showed it!).
It was an ok show. Sting outperformed. Wish i could have seen more of him. Simon and garfunkle was one of my fav groups but he did not sing many of his favourite
We really enjoyed the show. Paul was good for my man because he is a little older and Sting was perfect for me.
I had been looking forward to this show simce I saw tickets on sale and when the show wAs finally over it had met all my expectations.Superb singers and songwriters together was a special treat.Add to that two great bands playing as one or soaring seperately through the playlist with impecable sound and a wonderfully tasteful set.A great show, highly recommended.
Sting + Simon + Unforgettable evening. In a word…….GO!!!!!!!!!! (does that say it all??)
Great concert enjoyed all the music and the band...love it !!! Would see them again for sure !!
The awesome set list definitely took me down Memory Lane. Smooth vocal blending.. excellent guitar and percussion performance by the two bands.
Both artists have a great body of work; and individually and together sang their greatest hits. Their voices together work well on either of their songs. Their reportoire consisted of solo work and from their time with their respective groups. Excellent and enjoyable night.
A few words only - GO if you get the opportunity!!!
Was so excited when I first saw this event and then apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but I was far from disappointed. Both gentlemen were outstanding, hard to believe their ages. So happy I finally got to see not one but two absolute superstars, it was a night I will never forget.
We loved it. We came away with a renewed sense of admiration for them both. We were pleasantly surprised by the strength and clarity of their voices and their tones were spot on. The two large bands were great and really added to the performances. There was a wicked trumpet and sax player and an equally wicked violin player. The female back up singer was awesome. On the songs were Sting and Paul Simon sang together, their harmonies were great and we were again pleasantly surprised how well they complimented each other. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening of 2 hours and 40 minutes. Well worth the price of admission.
We thought it was fabulous...three hours of non-stop top music with two legends singing together and apart, each other's songs with two absolutely incredible bands..the greatest musicians on earth!
First things first.. I have never seen so much equipment on one stage! The show started shortly after 8 pm and it was going on 11pm when it ended. It was amazing, non-stop music from one entertainer to the other, or as a duet! Who would have thought these two would sound good together? I could so party with Paul Simon! At 71 the man knows how to have a good time! With Sting at 61, and Simon at 71, the energy level of these two was amazing! They didn't even break a sweat LOL.
Two consummate songwriters together on stage. Two Brilliant musicians. Two masterful backup bands.
It was wonderful to see Paul Simon perform again. I am a Simon and Garfunkel fan from way back and Paul's voice is still very strong. :) Sting was fantastic too!
