Enshrined in the Suns’ Ring of Honor are Alvan Adams, Barkley, Tom Chambers, Jerry Colangelo, Walter Davis, Cotton Fitzsimmons, Connie Hawkins, Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Al McCoy, John MacLeod, Nash, Joe Proski, Dick Van Arsdale and Paul Westphal.

The Phoenix Suns had a successful 2020–21 season, winning the Western Conference and narrowly falling in the NBA Finals to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Suns ended the 2021–2022 season with a franchise record of 64 wins and finished with the NBA's best record by eight games above the second best, the league's largest differential in 22 years. • Best GM Place event yet!

by Rolfb on 2009-10-25General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I may be a bit biased because I'm a long time basketball fan, but I think this event was the best I've attended in GM Place yet! Lines at the concession stands were fast, atmosphere was amazing and the game itself was excellent. Well done.

Being at the sold out game and seeing how many young fans and their families were there was amazing, it shows there is a fan base for basketball here!! Bring NBA back to Vancouver!!

  • A night to remember

by Ello on 2009-10-24General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Considering we don't have an NBA team in Vancouver anymore, it was definitely a treat to watch a live NBA game in Vancouver again. What's more, we got to watch and show our support for Steve Nash our BC boy. He should definitely bring his team up here more often for exhibition games considering the demand for it--the place was packed that night!

  • SUNS BASKETBALL

by JONNYLONGSNAKE on 2009-10-24General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

GREAT VALUE . For a pro sports team in an exhibition game it was great. The chearleaders were hot and and the game was good until the blazers pulled away late.

  • The game was an unforgettable experience

  • Basketball in vancouver

    by Tommyb901 on 2009-10-24General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

I would have to say that overall I enjoyed myself at this event. The componnents where there a basketball, two teams and some fans! The mascots and dancers were good too. I would really like to see different teams some higher profile players, or throw the grizzlies in there. Since the seattle sonics left we don't even have anything close to a home team. Its going to take some time for the vancouver NBA fans to get that taste out of there mouth, I can tste it right now. But way to go Steve Nash thanks for giving us a taste of what we miss so much, see you next year.

  • Boring!!!

Mostly boring except the intro and first 5 minutes and the mascot and other gymnasts at half-time

  • Great to see BBall back in Vancouver!

by caspergirl on 2009-10-23General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

It was great to see Basketball back in Vancouver. Wow, a sold out event. If we could have sustained that kind of support for the Grizzlies, we may still have a team and be able to see regular season games. Glad to see that although Steve Nash was hurt, that he played for all his fans. Good to see some of the canucks out to support other sports. Life long dream fulfilled to see Grant Hill playing again and looking so much like his old form. Go Duke Blue Devils!!

  • Suns vs Blazers were AWESOME!

by FamiliaS on 2009-10-23General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

We had a FANTASTIC time at the game. Steve Nash put on an awesome show! We really hope Nash's NBA basketball comes back to Vancouver.

  • Where's Nash?

by arlessgray on 2009-10-23General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Understandably, an exhibition game where prospects must be seen, however, also a charity game by Steve Nash....the whole reason people showed up. He should have played more in the second half. This event proved why the NBA should have stayed in Vancouver! Sold out! The fans enthusiasm would have been more had there been a legitimate "home" team.

  • NBA back in Vancouver

by GBRU on 2009-10-23General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Vancouver got a taste to the NBA reminding us of how wrong it was to let big shots steal away the Grizzlies. GM Place proved itself to be a great venue (The concession prices not withstanding) and we got to see terrific athletes along with hot cheerleaders. The crowd loved it every time Steve Nash was on the floor, but Phoenix just mailed in this game while the Blazers showed they have a future. It was fun evening for 19000.

  • Phoenix Suns' Steve Nash is a really good shoe!

by SuperDuper on 2009-10-23General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

I am not a big b-ball fan. That said, seeing Steve Nash throw his shoes to the crowd, and the crowd's reaction, was the highlight. His performance on the court was good and fun to watch, but most of the Portland team towered over him and squeezed him out whenever he tried to drive to the net. He was much better outside the paint. We sat on the floor, row C, on the side and at the end of the court. It was a challenge to actually see the action on the court being behind two rows of people with little height increase, but it was fun to be close to the action like that. We loved seeing the Canucks in the front row near us, Willie Mitchel, Ryan Kesler, Alex Edler, Alex Burrows, Mason Raymond, Darcy Hordichuk, and Shane O'Brien. That was probably a bigger highlight than Nash's shoes. Anyway, it was a good show, but next time I think I will sit a little higher up in the lower bowl instead of on the floor. It just wasn't worth the premium paid for those seats.

  • Bring back the NBA to Vancouver!

by LoCho on 2009-10-23General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

It was awesome to experience a NBA game again. A sold-out crowd at G.M. Place shows that Vancouverites love the game of basketball!
