Helping bring commercial metal to the masses since the early '80s, Poison remain at the top of their game well into the current decade. Their Glam-a-Geddon tour in 2011 commemorating their 25th anniversary was a huge success, reflecting the band's now legendary status as a forerunner of American pop-metal. The same can be said for their 2012 tour with fellow rockers Def Leppard. Poison's live shows often combine raucous fun with serious musical entertainment. Ticket buyers were in for a night of loud, high-energy concert rock, not to mention the onstage antics of the notorious C.C. Deville, whose amazing guitar solos are known to exceed nine minutes. Poison's 2011 Double Dose: Ultimate HIts compilation album preceded their summer tour and features all their hit singles that topped music charts.
It began in 1984, with frontman Bret Michaels, bassist Bobby Dall and drummer Rikki Rockett. Deville joined the band shortly thereafter, and the spirit of Poison was born. The glam fashion and metal attitude were a surprisingly effective mix. The 1986 hit Look What the Cat Dragged sold over two million copies, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200. With the release of 1988's Open Up and Say... Ahhh!, the super-smash anthem "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" cemented Poison firmly in their place in musical history. Their 2002 album Hollyweird reunited the band's original lineup after years following a falling-out among members. The reunion seems to have reinvigorated Poison, as it holds true to everything the band ever was and everything it ever will be in the public's eye. Songs like "Wishful Thinkin'" and the title track are hard-driving, good-old-fashioned rock and roll with a pop-metal edge. Fans could not ask for anything more, and a whole new generation of fans got a good glimpse of what the legendary Poison was all about.

Played for less than an hour and only about 11 songs (2 of which were covers). Lazy solos that was simply ripped off from Eddie Van Halen. Cash grab concert and nothing more.

Amazing concert just wish it was longer.....started just after 8 and were done just after 9. Not long enough! We didn't sit in our seats which were floor we rushed to the front and stood right in front of the stage!!!!!!!
They put on a great show, very interactive with the audience. They still got it.
Concert was amazing. Poison has not changed and the songs sounded like they did back in the day. The only issue was there was not an opening band so the total concert was only 1.5 hour long would have like to spend more time at the show. We drove in for the show so 4 hours each was to see a 1.5 hour show. But in my opinion still worth it. Poison right ....
All 4 original members finally back together and they didn't miss a beat. Poison was absolutely amazing, they have not slowed down one bit. Bret's voice has never sounded better and the way he rocked the stage. He never stopped running around and he made sure he slapped fans hands all through the show. You could tell that the whole band was happy too be back together. If Poison is playing in your area this is a must see show....

Poison got on stage at about 8:15. They played their hits and Brett mentioned that he'd like to treat it as a Saturday night cause they were ready to party with us. Thank God he considered it a weekend show, hate to think what a weekday show would be like (this was a Thursday LOL)....encore came and it was Rock and Roll All Night by Kiss and then.....9:20. "Thank you folks, see you in the Fall"...never been to a show where it lasted 65 minutes for in excess of $90 per ticket. Just a joke!

Poison delivered an awesome show at Rama. We were on our feet the entire time - rocking out to all their hits! It was a high-energy show and the boys were clearly lovin every minute of it and their passion was contagious. Meet & greet was fantastic before the show and an amazing opportunity to meet the original 4 members of the band. Highly recommended!
Good show but a little too short. No opening band and Poison played for just over an hour.
Paid 100 for tics each plus has and hotel and Brett kept saying he was just getting started and will play all night lol came on 810 show over 910 wow
Their energy was amazing! Brett is the best when it comes to showmanship for sure!! CC was incredible! The only slight drawback was the sound. It was loud ( which was great), but Brett's vocals were over powered and strained a bit. Otherwise, A++ show!
The guys in Poison still know how to entertain. This was an amazing show albeit a little short.
I have been following this band for 30 years, and been watching them in concert since they reformed with CC in 1999 countless times, and regardless if they are playing for 1500 or 50,000 fans, the show is the same. High Energy, Crowd Interaction, and playing all the hits we know and love and can sing along to from the glory days of Party Metal. Bret gets the party started, and CC who in my opinion is so under rated just shreds his flying V with ease.. and Miracle Man Rikki Rockett fresh off beating STAGE 4 cancer.. and of course Mr. Bobby Dall on the bass.. Just having the boys hit the stage and the first note of "Dragged in" transports you back to the teenage years of how the music made you feel...... and it will never change.. I truly love this band.
So disappointed, Bret Michaels sounded raspy and they only played for just over one hour!!!!!!!! Totally ripped off after paying big money for the show. Rest of band sounded good but I can't believe they would cut it so short. Totally not fair to the good people who came out. Feels like a money grab.
Took my husband with me who was not a fan and now he cant wait to go to the next show! Thats how amazing these guys are. Poison rocks hard!
