I happened to see the bands name on my ticketmaster email updates and after reading about them and them a little you tubing... I'd go see them. They've been around for 20 years and I've never heard of them. I was nothing but glad I did, these guys were rockin', tight band and great to see! Thank you ticketmaster, the Phoenix and of course REFUSED!! Cheers, Peter.
Third time seeing Refused since 2012. One of the most important records of my life - so expectations were high. This show at the Phoenix was everything - high energy, flawless performance, the sound was fantastic, sightlines unimpeded. Old songs, way old songs, new songs. Incredible. My 20th+ show at The Phoenix, Ticketmaster process is smooth enough for the $$ spent.
Come on! This may be one of the greatest bands ever to see live! They absolutely destroyed! Played 8 songs off the new record War Music. See these guys!
More than 20 years making music and they are keeping that energy on stage! Refused knows how to move the crowd, without mention their new albums are amazing!
Great show, good energy! They have their style, more heavy than I tought and less raw. The song are classics and they never go out of style.
One of the best shows I've been too. I was so happy to have a chance to see one of the most infulential bands in the genre. Check them out!
Absolutely amazing show! I was fully entertained and moshing the entire time. They can still play just as well if not better then they did back in the 90's!
Excellent show. The opening band were good for what they do. Not my thing but they put on a good show for the Edmonton crowd. But the build up into Refused set was intense. I've seen and hung out with these guys in '97 on their Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent album tour (in Minneapolis, MN) but this time around, they were older and more mature, and definitely a more serious band. It was nice to see them put their last album to justice. I never did see Dennis perform with the International Noise Conspiracy but I could tell he got much better as a performer. The way he threw his microphone around and catching it all the time flawlessly. It was definitely the most entertaining show I've seen in the last decade.
very energetic, really good show. A show you must see.
