    Refused are Alive!

by TheCrystalle on 2012-07-24Sound Academy - Toronto

So good!! Saw them in Montreal at the Metropolis and Toronto at the Sound Academy...The Sound Academy is probably the worst venue of all time, except I had VIP balcony tickets which were worth every penny..Thank you Refused for coming to Canada!

    Greatest Ever

by ElDuderino on 2012-07-24Sound Academy - Toronto

I have seen big ticket names before - Tool, NIN, Deftones, Thrice, Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, Silverchair, etc. This was by far the best show I've been to. The amount of energy this band brought to the stage as unparalleled, even compared to younger bands. The venue was absolutely packed, but that hardly diminished my enjoyment of the show. Refused connected with the crowd in a way few bands do. My only regret is that I didn't get tickets for both shows.

    I can die happy

by Kaynine on 2012-07-24Sound Academy - Toronto

I am so happy I was able to see Refused play a show. I only found out about them after they had broken-up and didn't think I would ever have an opportunity to see them live. This show was one of the most energetic and intense shows I've been to in a long time. At the time it reminded me of Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar tour, the first show at the Guvernment. Pure and unbridled mayhem!

    High-Energy For A Long-Awaited Refused Show!

by nohood on 2012-07-24Sound Academy - Toronto

Refused had the perfect amount of energy for this long-awaited show. The songs were tight, energetic and well played. They played for a good amount of time, there was a decent amount of audience interaction but they didn't talk too much. The stage looked amazing, especially with their curtain at the beginning and the lights were done perfectly. They played all the hits and everyone in the audience was satisfied! My only issue is that they played Summerholidays vs Punkroutines kind bad, which is my favourite song! The rest was really tight though. DEFINITELY worth it.

One of the greatest live sets that I have ever seen. I waited 14 years to see this band and it turned out to be more than worth the wait! It did not hurt that Off! were the opening act.
