Rating says it all.. Awesome line-up, fantastic performances, great crowd, like three separate killer shows.

As usual another super show by 2 awesome bands at a great venue! I love the commodore and these bands really sound good in there and get the crowd just rockin.

Great Show. The Reverend even came out to meet the crowd after playing for 2 1/2 hours non stop! I can't wait 'till Reverend Horton Heat comes back! Cheers!

Fantastic! Both 'Rev's" Rocked the house! Outstanding performances by both bands. Not one dull moment. The house was packed and filled with an enthusiastic crowd.

Played all the faves with lots of interaction! Always a Texas treat!

Two revs for the price of one... not only was the venerable Reverend Horton Heat is stoically amazing self, but the opening act, The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band was an amazing refresher with regards to opening acts. Either band was worth the price of admission. Peyton's BDB was a blast of bluegrass roots at it's finest and one hell of a stage presence. The Rev was great as well, tearing through twenty five years of rockabilly greatness before switching the set over to requests from the audience for almost half the set.

This guy has to be one of the 3 or 4 greatest guitarists around. Wonderful skillful playing and that's what interested me the most.

The Rev as always is intense and full of fun. Played the hard stuff over the country, but made up for it with a cover of Folsom Prison Blues. This group is one of the best live acts you'll ever see. The crowd is as unique as their music. Great time as always.

saw cracker and the reverend horton heat and regret missing openers, split lip rayfield.let me first say that i am a cracker fan and while the band gave their usual all, david's act is getting a little old . reference to seeing " more women in an alaskan mining camp" than at the show was a backhander to buffalo or the closing act or anything or anyone bothering him at the time. the obscure "onanism" joke, i got it. maybe the audience doesn't want to verbally spar,particularly if they saw you in toronto in january/10. three cheers for the reverend horton heat. having seen them now for the first time, i would gladly see them again.it was a great, high energy show and i am no longer a casual fan.

As expected, The Reverend Horton Heat put on a fantastic show! The energy was amazing, the songs were fun, and the crowd was having a party! I have vowed to never, ever, ever miss a Rev show in the lower mainland! Highly recommended!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!

I see Reverend Horton Heat every year they come to Vancouver and am never disappointed. This show was just as amazing as the last, with a killer set filled not only with music but stories sprinkled in between. They are true to the rockabilly genre, making them one of my heroes of this day and age.

Too bad Nekromantix didn't make it. Rich Hope was ok though, as a last minute opener.

show had great energy was great to see the floor full with crazy ass fun peeps just given er has to be up there in top 3 shows hes played here ps. great t shirts at resonable price as well the 1 negative is only the commodores over priced high balls and short pours to bad such a great room oh well bring a flask to any show here

Reverend Horton Heat at the Commodore Ballroom was a riot. Great Band, Great Show, and the Best venue in Vancouver. Bad news that Nekromantix couldn't make it but the replacement opening act ( I think his name was Richie Hole) was awsome, he got the crowd fired up and ready to rock and hop the nite away with the Reverend.

Killer show at the Commodore in Vancouver. Rich Hope also did a great job despite what I'm sure was a last-minute booking as Nekromantix couldn't make 'er through immigration.

This has got to be the best show that I've ever been to (even though the original opening act couldn't make it). Reverend Horton Heat produced an unforgettable show, and I left their completely satisfied. The crowd went crazy for them. The Commodore Ballroom was an awesome venue too, the service was great and you could actually see the band the whole time. Would love to do it again!

Reverend Horton Heat is an amazingly tight band who combine incredible musical proficiency with outstanding showmanship. The Reverend never misses a note which is incredible considering that often you can only see a blur where his hands should be. The bass is awesome, and the drummer is my favourite -- you can't appreciate his playing until you see (and hear) him live! I would definitely recommend this event to anyone, particularly at the Commodore in Vancouver -- it's the best place to see a show! ps. we missed the necromantix....too bad they had border problems.....
