Great show in a great venue!!

by ElmiraPenguin on 2018-04-01London Music Hall - LONDON

The venue was a nice surprise. The London music hall had free parking, looked to hold about a few hundred people and actually had an A&W pickup window across from the bar. No kidding! Great venue and would recommend it. The opening band was Igor and the Red Elvis’s. They were another pleasant surprise. Igor was true showman through out the set with his surf/ska/rock music he played with hilarious songs like “I want my Honda Civic back” and “closet disco dancer”. Then the Reverend came on and finished the show. Unbelievable guitar player with his incredible rockabilly voice. He Interacted with the crowd throughout the show with entertaining stories. Great show. Actually got some extra songs out of both bands because one of the opening bands didn’t play.

    Igor and the red elvises

    by DM83 on 2018-03-27Pyramid Cabaret - Winnipeg

I only went to see them. Californian Russian surf rock. Can't think of a better title.for the music they play. Crowd was a little conservative. Igor implored them to get up,and party. Some did. He sure can play a mean guitar. The. Woman drummer was hot. I thought then guy playing the organ had an annoyingly high. Off key voice. And the organ seemed off key as well. Spoiled by the Russian girl from the previous year's or decades. Now. She is the hottest ever. Nice to hear balalaikas and accordions with a early 60s Venture, Batman tv show riffs.

    I've been HEALED!

by KickAxe on 2015-06-01Pyramid Cabaret - Winnipeg

This was my eighth time seeing The Rev and they are still kicking ass! Such a fun show. If you haven't seen them before, do yourself a favour and check them out. Best $35 bucks I've spent in a long time. Great choice of opening acts too, it was my first time seeing both The Brains and The Necromantix and they were both super energetic and entertaining.

no such thing as a bad show by the Rev!

by Anonymous on 2012-12-30Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Flew down from Calgary just to see this shoe and as expected the show was unbelievable. The small venue at Vinyl in the hardrock hotel was perfect as it made for a more intimate setting and you could see the show from wherever you were. The Rev played a variety of older classics as well as new material and even played "rock this town" Not many bands can cover the stray cats and make it sound better, but it happened. The Rev and Jimbo stuck around after the show to meet some fans and shake hands with people. Super friendly and approachable which just added the perfect end to a perfect show. You will never have a bad time or get a sub-par performance if you go to a show by the Reverend Horton Heat! Even after 25 years the band still has the same energy and sound better every year. Thanks again for doin what you do best, being an amazing and talented band and being there for the fans. You guys are the greatest!

It was a Pile Drive in Winnipeg

by PileDrive on 2012-06-13Pyramid - Winnipeg

The local band reminded me of the early Dead Milkmen. The Real McKenzies was a head splitter with the bag pipes....but of course The Rev was worth waiting for and was a fantastic high energy pile drive

The Reverend Horton Heat was in fine form

by KickAxe on 2012-06-12The Pyramid Cabaret - Winnipeg

I've never seen a bad Reverend Horton Heat Show and as usual they did not disappoint. They rocked out with hit after hit in chronological order of their release and then went into the fan requests. A fantastic rockin' show that shouldn't be missed even if you've never listened to the Rev, if you're a fan of live music then you'll love this show. I was also nicely surprised with the Real McKenzies they were great and energetic. How can you go wrong with bagpipes in a rock band?

    O.K. venue, great bands

by hepting1 on 2012-05-03The Music Hall - LONDON

Of course the Rev was awesome I have been a fan for 10+ years First time for me, being right up, face to face(ish) with the rev. I frigin loved it by the way, note for note renditions of the best of the catalogue. . I want to talk about the opening bands, THE BRAINS!!!!!!!! they rock, no doubt about it. Give it up for those dudes, they worked hard, played harder and had a vibe in that club man, for sure. They have a look, a sound, and a stage presence that got my attention, and I have been telling people about this band since that night. Real mckenzies rock too and you all know that, their show was fired up, and I was front row for that one. Great night all tolled.
