It was a pretty good show. Richard Marx did many of his old hits and also gave us a taste of a new track that is coming out on his upcoming album. He is down to earth and seems pretty genuine.
The concert was amazing...he doesn't have to sell out arenas to really entertain. His voice is so strong and powerful and he was able to bring me back in time to memories long forgotten by just hearing him sing those songs.
My then boyfriend & I (now husband) saw Richard Marx in the late 80's. He was great back then. He has stood the test of time. His voice was awsome. He is very talented in his song writing & playing. He interacts with the crowd & shows genuine appreciation for them. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the show because I'm not a huge fan of his post 80's music, but it didn't matter. Everything was great!
To be honest, I had no clue who Richard Marx was. My wife wanted to go to the concert for her birthday - so, tickets I bought. I was amazed at how many songs I knew, and how well they were performed. He sounds the same as his old recordings, and has a great sense of humor.
Since the late 80's I've seen Richard four times including last night. I have never been disappointed and enjoy hearing all those great old song along with new material. He gets the crowd going and everyone always has a good time. He can keep coming back and I'll keep going. Ouiji.
