Our mother/daughter evening at Rock The Rink was terrific. From arriving at the Avenir Centre to leaving the show all was good. We certainly enjoyed the show, opening act was good and the skating was excellent, loved the various skating themes throughout the evening, audience engagement was great.
My mother-in-law LOVES figure skating and has watched many of the skaters that performed on Saturday, Nov. 16, since they first started figure skating. Mainly Scott and Tessa and Patrick Chan but the others as well. I, along with my sister-in-law, were very happy to share this experience with her. (My mother-in-law and I also attended the Thank You Canada Tour in 2018). The music, the choreography, were so well put together. All in all, an excellent performance my everyone. Plus the Avenir Centre is a beautiful building!! A 10 out of 10 evening all the way around.

the lights was a little bit too much since we were not seeing what the were doing at the other side of the rink. no one was introducing the skaters skating except for the guess.
We loved the skating. That performance lived up to our expectations. However we had never heard tell of a solo performance of a band of a skating event. We were not aware that there would be a band at this one. We didn't enjoy their performance at all. We also did not appreciate the hour wait before the skating started. We would have been happy with an hour and a half skating show on its own.
Very enjoyable. Had a wonderful on ice seats. Was a little bit disappointed with the price of the snacks and wine, so I ended up not ordering anything, but for everything else, wonderful!!
From the music to the choreography, this show was mind blowingly complex and beautiful. I loved all the songs and the dancing. Birds of Bellwoods was a great choice for an opening number as well.

Getting to the event was horrid it took us 2hrs10 mins from Lasalle to Laval it should only take 1/2 HR . So we thought we missed part of the show ( which we did the music part ) We had no idea that the skating was only st 8 pm and that at 7 it was a band playing. Think it should have been clearer when purchasing tickets or even on the ticket . I know friends who did not end up getting there because they figured that they had missed half the show by the time they got to Laval and in reality the skating show had just begun . Needs to be more specific As for the skating show , we loved it .
I really enjoyed the show, however would have loved even more to experience e longer choreographies from Tessa & Scott.
First time seeing figure skating live and I loved it! They are amazing athletes, artists and genuinely down to earth all rolled into one. The venue was easily accessible by public transit. Initially, we were seated behind the entrance and the establishment moved us more closer to the centre with no additional cost. Much appreciated!
Fabulous show featuring live music, former Canadian champions and fan favourites Patrick Chan, Kaetlyn Osmond, and Elvis Stojko (!!) as well as dance pair extraordinaire and Canada's sweethearts, Tessa and Scott. Live skating was punctuated by touching short videos of the pair, who are calling it quits after a long and stellar career. Trust me, you'll love it!!!
The show was amazing and the figure skaters were so nice I just regret that there was not a lot of choice concerning food proposed to us
The show was amazing. Loved every minute of it. Wish it could have gone on for hours. Wish Scott and Tessa could skate together forever. They are mesmerizing to watch. Love love loved the show. The band was really great too. Nice for them to warm up the crowd. Also the special Olympic portion of the show was great for inclusiveness.
I cried a lot, they were amazing as always. The seats made it even better. Still canât quite get over it, Iâm star struck!
The skating part of the show was amazing. We loved seeing our favourites up close and they put on a great show. I would have given 5 stars to the skating portion, but the rest was very disappointing. We didnât like that they had an opening act without advising ticket holders. This venue is terrible for parking. We arrived 45 minutes early and in that amount of time were unable to get into the underground parking due to traffic lights that were terribly programmed and didnât permit enough movement of traffic after pedestrians walked. (The city must do something about this on event nights!) In order to not be late, we had to change plans and roam around to find parking outside... so we made it to our seats in a panic at 6:59, with 1 minute to spare! After all this, however, we discovered that there was actually an opening act at 7:00, THEN followed by a 30-minute intermission!! (they announced then that it would be 20). So the show that had been advertised as starting at 7:00pm actually started at 8:00pm. This should have been announced! It should be indicated on our tickets, so people donât need to rush to get there, fearing theyâll miss the start of the show. We and many around us were very disappointed about this, and it had an impact on our enjoyment of the evening overall. As a result of this very disorganized event and venue, we have decided that we will never attend an event at PlaceBell again.
Such a great show with exceptionally talented athletes! We totally loved it! So much passion, so much athleticism, so much devotion to their art! Pure excellence!!! Thank you so much for a once-in-a-lifetime spectacular show and for the great memories that we will cherish forever!

Show was awesome. It does not get any better than this. Hats off to all the skaters. Fantastic light and sound show. A big thumbs up.
The show began with a thirty minute concert. I liked the music, but it was not what I expected. I was here to see figure skating. We then had a thirty minute intermission to clear off the ice, which dropped the crowd's interest and enthusiasm. The skaters finally came on and did a great job, but I wish more of the performers were Canadian. I think they should have had the musicians play on the side of the ice and perform live as the skaters skated. I liked the group skates the best. I've been to several ice skating shows, and although I enjoyed parts of this show, it was not my favourite show I have been to.
