About

Roger Hodgson is universally acclaimed as one of the most gifted composers and lyricists of our time.  Hodgson co-founded Supertramp in 1969 and helped define a generation of progressive rock.  He is the singer/songwriter of such globally successful and enduring anthems as "The Logical Song," "Breakfast in America," "Give a Little Bit," "Take the Long Way Home," "Dreamer," "It's Raining Again," "School," "Fool's Overture," and many more timeless songs that helped his former band sell well over 60 million albums to date.

For many fans, Roger Hodgson was the spiritual force behind the band for the 14 years prior to his departure in 1983.  While he and the other co-founder, Rick Davies, shared writing credit, they actually wrote and composed separately.

Hodgson continues to tour extensively worldwide performing not only his classics, but also material from his solo albums.  For additional information, visit

  • WORLD CLASS ACT.

by PETERV on 2016-11-19Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Roger Hodgson is a world class musician and vocalist and his accompanying band was also excellent. He is also a very nice and approachable person. I happened to meet him personally in the lobby of the hotel and got to shake his hand etc. I have given him 4 stars because I felt he could have done more Supertramp songs that people generally are familiar with.

Played all the hits from Supertramp days. A true British gentleman. Voice is clear and strong. Backing musicians very professional. Roger was charming and friendly. Even did a Tim Hortons song parody. Venue is nice. Stayed at attached hotel. Would recommend.

If you're a fan you will leave revitalized as a superfan. Rogers voice is as amazing as you will remember it and he has surrounded himself with a group of extremely talented musicians that have it down to a tee.

  • Formerly of Supertramp? NOT! He IS Supertramp

by Mickee on 2016-11-18SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

You know, I've grown up listening to Roger Hodgson and Supertramp. One of my favourite bands. Roger showed me that he still has what it takes to be a stellar performer, and his notes took me right back to my teens. Powerfully recognizable voice3 that he has and can still belt out his great ballads. Pianist, 12 string guitar and even a snare drum. He is so talented. I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 th row floor seat right in front of him!

  • fantastic concert

by SwiftCurrentRocker on 2016-11-18SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Roger showcased his poetic songs, spoke about how some of them came to be and still hits those high notes. His band was tight and added the intricate extras required for the Supertramp songs. I would certainly see the show again if I had the chance.

Was an outstanding concert. Have been to many many concerts and this man is at the top of my list. From his vocals and piano playing to his bands instrument playing-absolutely wonderful! Really hope he comes back to Saskatoon.

  • Roger Hodgson and friends are music geniuses

by GDDAN on 2016-11-18SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Rogers music and dialogue with the crowd exceeded my expectations. To hear the live music of Supertramp and tunes from Rogers solo career will be unforgettable and fondly remembered for a long long time! However, I was disappointed by the small crowd and the selection of the SaskTel Centre for this concert. TCU would have been a much better choice both in terms of sound quality and atmosphere. Don't get me wrong.....I think Roger and co sounded brilliant regardless and they did not seem to mid the sparse looking but enthusiastic crowd! Good on them!

  • The Master of Music

    by hammerc66 on 2016-11-15Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

My fifth time at Rama to see this concert and no doubt the best musicianship in the world I could have sat there another 2 hours if it was possible.. This guy and the orchestra are untouchable. I hope he comes back one more time even though the way he said at the end that they "may be back" didn't sound to encouraging. I get the feeling that he is getting tired but for our sake and the world's I hope he continues thanks

  • Roger was Awesome!

    by Ktowner101 on 2016-11-15Rogers K-Rock Centre - KingstonRating: 5 out of 5

He sounded great. The band sounded great. The sound was very good, but could have been a bit louder. Roger went effortlessly between the piano, electric piano, and guitar. Crowd was very enthusiastic. I thought it was going to be a fairly short show, but he played for 2 1/2 hours not including intermission!

  • Almost 5 stars

by Slew on 2016-11-15Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 4 out of 5

We enjoyed this show a lot. Hearing the old Supertramp songs was great. The band was very good and the sound was excellent. My only negative comments.... Roger was having trouble hitting some of the high notes and they play some songs that nobody has ever heard of. However, it was a fun night and we may go back again next year.
