RuPaul's Drag Race Tickets

What an absolute disaster at Meridian Hall - they had extra time to get us all into the theatre as the curtain time was delayed to 9pm - and it STILL took an hour longer than planned to get everyone in and start the show. The line up outside was a mess, no one was directing people properly, some were given wristbands, some were not, with no rhyme or reason as to why, some were asked for ID with their proof of vaccine, some were waved through in a rush. Once inside the venue decided it would be a good idea to have 2 CASH bars open on the main floor, with the only ATM being outside of the venue. There was only one bar open accepting credit/debit upstairs (seriously Meridian, you couldn't spring for more terminals?) If the goal was to keep people from bringing drinks to their seats so we'd leave our masks on, there could have 1. been proper signage telling people that they couldn't bring drinks in, and 2. open all the bars and allow all payment methods to move the lines quickly- as what ended up happening was large crowds gathering outside of the theatre with no masks on chugging down drinks as quickly as possible. The queens put on an admirable show despite all of the delays with the border and issues with the venue that continued throughout the show - mic problems, lighting problems, set problems - it really was Hell lol - thank goodness Violet was hosting to get us all through it - hope they tighten it up as the tour progresses.

OMG Violet spent half the show ranting about Canadian customs and Air Canada! And then she ran out of material. What the hell does she talk about during a regular show? They started the show about 90 minutes late, blaming customs. Get your paperwork together dorks and this won't happen! AND NO ALYSSA EDWARDS! no announcement, no apology. Not even on Twitter. Other than Aquaria and Rosé, the whole thing was pretty high school. Violet's entrance was pretty epic too. Though her hosting skills are very limited. And everyone was so bored and worn out by the end (almost midnight) they were running for the exits while the queens were still on stage. Seriously, Voss. WTF.

The show was delayed due to a problem at the border (understandable)… but why wouldn’t the venue account for the added time it would take to process 3,000 people and use this delay to their advantage? Instead the pushes back the time of doors, and as a result the show started closer to 10pm. As for the show itself, I wouldn’t pay to see it again. There was barely a plot, and you really only saw each queen (aside from Violet) for maybe 10 minutes.

The queens were all great - loved Aquaria in particular - but expected a more polished show and higher protection value from VOSS. Our tickets were too $$$ to feel like we were sitting through a high school play from the 90s :/

expensive tickets for a low value production stage design and build were fine, but why was the tech crew on stage the entire time building props? seemed un-rehearsed, like the crew and performers didn't really know what was going on strange venue for the type of show the Queen we wanted to see the most was not there Priyanka, Rose, Got Mik, and Aquaria were the only good performances I've put more effort into writing this review than was put into the entire production

First of all, it started 2 hours later. Apparently they blame Air Canada, but no further explanation was given. And no apologies were even heard. From the first queen on stage, there was tech issues, sound was off and speakers not working. There was consistently issues with music, lighting, and so on. Violet was host of the show, and i'm not sure if it was planned or not but she had to transition from one queen to the next, and it was done sooo weirdly. not entertaining at all, and in most cases the crowd was pretty silent. If it wasn't for Rose and Plastique Tiara, the show would have been crap!!! Overall, due to mishaps and not being prepared etc, i would say this show is wayyyyy overpriced for what we got. RuPaul would be extremely unhappy with this!

The show started 2.5 hours late, the host Queen Violet complained about Canada the whole show, the queens seemed with a bad mood, and looks like they did not practice the show. OMG Jaida didn’t even knew the words of her number, Kandy Muse did not wanted to dance. Alyssa Edward, who was on the promotion of the event, never showed up. I’m not being a Karen here, is just that I travelled all my way from Ottawa for the show, and wanted to enjoy it so much but it was full of disappointment. But GottMik, Rose and Aquaria!!! You girls did everything!! I love your attitude your professionalism despite the obstacles you had that day.

All the girls were fantastic. There was an exceptionally late start and one of the headliners wasnt there with no announcement of her cancellation despite being fully aware she was never gonna make it. That being said, performances were 10/10.

Overall this was a really well put together show with a great theme. The acts were spectacular and entertaining. The drag queens were in their glory, each one putting their own twist on their performance, keeping things interesting. It was hilarious, entertaining and gag worthy! Rupauls Drag Race never disappoints!!! YAAAS QUEEENS!!!!

Wasn’t sure what to expect. Acts such as Priyanka, Lemon, Violet, GottMik, and Aquaria were my personal favorites and everyone looked STUNNING! Started late but due to COVID this is definitely excusable. Overall very interactive and a fun atmosphere. Would recommend if you want to see an awesome drag show.

Due to customs delay the show was an hour and 40 minutes delayed. The Queens performances were fabulous but I felt so bad for the crew. Obvious flaws in the timing, lighting, and sets took away from what would have been a pretty epic show. This is not a complaint by any means, a show like this takes a lot of time and effort to put on and having such a delay would have been very difficult to execute. All in all the individual performances were very well done. Venue did a great job from my first post Covid show point of view.

We were very excited for this show, some of RuPauls top performers, how could we go wrong. They got stuck in customs so we had a 2 hour delay, we stood in line for over 4 hours. Once the show finally started, there were technical and audio issues. It happens. We can get over that., The Major disappointment was their performances were sub par. This is a Lip Syncing show, at least know your words that your NOT signing. You are supposed to be some of the best Drag performers in America. The show had no flow and the routines seemed rather simple and there didn't seem to be anything cohesive or thematic through the entire show, the worse of all was the MC, she was not a good host whatsoever. Overall we were disappointed and left early, as did others.

The queens were everything you could imagine and more.

I guess there were some problems at the border to Canada that influenced how this show was executed. Unfortunately there were many noticeable staging, technology and sound errors. That said, most of the performers overcame the frustration (though one or two of them wore it) and delivered a good show. Some queens performances were fully realized and stellar. Others did not make sense. Violet was an amazing host and the show really became elevated by Rosé and Gottmik’s numbers. I did enjoy it overall, it was fun. Alyssa didn’t show and there was no mention of it. Could have been better but still enjoyable thanks to the queens who saved it despite the challenges. It’s worth going simply to support the Queens!

An amazing, high production show that provided everything you would expect from these amazing queens - amazing music, performances, set design, looks, energy with a good dose of comedy!

The talent was amazing however the meet and greet was terrible. You pay extra for not even a minute to speak with the queens. You are pushed along because Voss events is absolutely terrible. We paid extra for an actual meet and greet not just a picture. The show was extremely late due to border delays The wait was out of control and no updates given to the crowd while we were all standing in lines for hours. The meet in greet was in a dirty basement no back drops nothing queens standing behind ballet stretch bars it was ridiculous for the amount of money you pay. But the actual show it self was amazing If I ever attend another Voss event which I plan not to. I will definitely not buy meet and greet tickets as the experience was the same as general admission. Shame on Voss events

The show started two and half hours late and was technically kind of a mess. They did have delays at the border so many it was because of that but it really felt unrehearsed. A couple of the queens seemed to phone it in. Violet, Rose, Jaida, Gottmik, and Aquaria were great.

Every part of the show is filled with entertainment. All the performers are on the top of their game and bring it to every performance. I cheered for most of the performance. I looked forward to every entertainer they had. And their surprise performer was absolutely amazing! I went last year and this show as 10x more put together and orchestrated. Can't wait until next year.

This show was super disappointing. Production value was very low - songs weren’t recognizable, set was poorly executed and costuming for group “performances” were lack lustre. A definite let down.

Flew into TO just to see this show. Meet & greet was the typical quick walk through but the queens were all so nice. The show was amazing! 8 super queens really. This show had it all. Loved all the performances. The dancers, sets, lighting & music all worked to create a great night, worth making this trip. I would do it again in a heartbeat. ❤️❤️
