About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

  • Rush....again! Hope there is one more!

by rcronin on 2015-10-13Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Start off with old friends in a remodelled bar in a hotel we used to rent in the 80s, and give ithe rockstar treatmentto! This time things were a little more low key. We had many laughs and memories of old Rush shows. Basically knew the setlist already, other than a couple changes. One being the playing of "Losing It" with Ben Mink. Unreal. We older Rush fans got locked in to the 2nd set. Playing an unbelieveable string of songs back to back to back. The show was great. Hard to say where it ranks in all the Rush shows. I was in the 1st row floor for this one, so I will remember it well, as we felt like we were part of "the show"!! The playing was as good as ever. SInging better than I expected. Setlist was great. Sound was good. Rogers arena.....not bad. Yeah kind of a compliment. Rock on!! The TImes of Our Lives!!

  • R40 : Still got it after all these years

    by artood2 on 2015-08-01Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Rush hasn't had a hit song in a long time. That matters very little to a band that is more entertaining and professional than all the current top forty bands put together. With a quirky stage show reminiscent of The Wall with things being added and moved around this Trio knows when to be serious and when to poke fun at itself. Rush has some of the best musicians ever to grace a stage and their precision is a sight to behold. I treasure the times I saw them and kick myself for not going more often or earlier. If they happen to tour again go see them ! or seek out their live albums and dvds.

  • Rush ~ not a rush

    by Skort1970 on 2015-07-26Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 2 out of 5

On knew a couple of songs in the first half, more in the second half. Sound was muffled I could not make out the words for most of the songs. Long intros to songs, lost interest by the time a song actually started. Washing machines on the stage was odd.

Over 3 hours of unadulterated RUSH, tunes from every decade, Geddy sounds just like he did when I last saw them on the permanent waves tour and OMG Neil, one of the top drummers in the world

Rush has provided fans around the world with a dedication to giving them there best performance night in & night out. Few bands can provide this level of entertainment. If you have not caught up to them on this tour then i suggest you do because this may be the last tour.

3 and a half hours it was fantastic. Getty's ripping bass, Alex's wild guitar and the best drummer on the planet.
