About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

  • Rush Was AWESOME

by Jayeric on 2013-07-10Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Spectacular show! Great seats and nice venue. Sound was a little powerful in some spots due to acoustics of Copps but overall sounded wonderful. Light show was out of this world! Great to See Alex, Geddy and Neil working and having so much fun while playing. Fun - Fun - Fun!!! My 12 year old daughter really was excited about her 1st concert! The only complaint I have would be the pot smoking at a 'No Age Restriction' concert - but I guess there's not much that can be done about that.

by BabsT on 2013-07-10Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent show, as usual. The only issue I had was that the instrumental music was drowning out Geddy's vocals. But, still, loved it, had a blast!!!

  • Delivered again

by rauder on 2013-07-10Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Always a good show, I like the way they do not mess with their songs, its just like it was recorded, no disappointments. Unfortunately the boys are getting up their and 10 min drum solo's no longer exist from the professor, but that is to be expected, still the best there is.

  • RUSH IS THE BEST BAND EVER!!!!

by ChrisLovesRush on 2013-07-10Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing show! The sound was great and the venue was enjoyable. Plus, you can NEVER go wrong when you're watching the most talented band in the world.

  • Rush is flawless again

    by Slainte15 on 2013-07-10Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Once again, Rush is amazing. Almost 3 hours of hardcore driving rock. These guys just keep rocking it out after almost 40 years. I loved the set list. I received Clockwork Angels CD for Christmas and only listened to it once. After this concert I've listened to it 4 times. I can't believe how good the new music is and they played lots of it at the concert. The 2112 Overture encore just blew me away. I've seen Rush over 15 times and they rarely play this. Awesome venue and event!!

  • Not enough old tunes.

by Helly on 2013-07-10Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 3 out of 5

Great music but would have been more enjoyable to have songs that you knew and could sing along with.

  • by MSTS on 2013-07-10Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

You must see RUSH! Always a great show and now my son is a fan!

  • by paulius on 2013-04-24ACC - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely awesome. I have seen them very tour since Moving Pictures, and they keep getting better. There aren't enough stars -- I need more than 5.

  • RUSH is still the BEST!

by Sharktank on 2012-11-25MGM Grand Hotel - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was great! Rush put on a great show as they always do. They play the show with no opening act. If you haven't seen this band you need to put them on your to do list. There is a reason why they are a hall of fame band. Thank you for a great time!

  • Rush in Toronto, something you gotta see!

by SJai on 2012-11-05ACC - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

There are many others reviews covering with accuracy the greatness of this evening. One thing that might look minor but speaks volume is the discipline of the fans: during the concert people were glued to their spots. Comparing to Roger Water's the Wall where despite the excellent show people were constantly streaming up and down the stairs carrying precious food and drinks, the Rush audience was listening in religious awe. Kudos to Rush support team sound was excellent, something you rarely hear in ACC which is not a concert designed venue.

  • WHAT A RUSH!!!

    by Instagator68 on 2012-10-22Rexall Place - Edmonton, AlbertaRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show!! What an honor to finally see RUSH live. They have been a favorite of mine since I was a wee lad. They are each so talented and skilled at what they do.Lifeson the great guitarist. Peart, the amazing drummer. And of course Lee-talented on keyboards, basss guitar and vocals. All 3 of them pushing 60 years old but still can rock the house. Awesome show!!!!

  • by Katianna on 2012-10-20MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 2 out of 5

Very disappointing. Bass drum and bass masked the vocals and melody. Poor sound. First set song choices were lousy. What about some of the bullets! Second set was better with songs off new album and sound seemed better. Unless we were just getting use to the pounding of the bass drum hitting our chests. We go to alot of concerts and the sound was the second worst we have encounter. Too bad!

  • Rush is Timeless!

by Challenger on 2012-10-19Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

You would think you are listening to a 6 piece band, they produce such a big sound! Just watching what they are doing with foot pedals, keyboards, etc and you really appreciate just how talented these 3 are. I hope I can have that much energy when I am their age. Just an awesome show!

  • Rush in Toronto with my family

by twistthegrip on 2012-10-18Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This Rush tour is especially memorable for me. Usually I would be attending with a couple of my good buddies and long time fans of the band, in fact, my one friend has seen the band 55 times. Our trips would include all kind of typical rock concert antics and activities before and after "the gig". This "gig" would be different, it would not just include my wife, but my seventeen year old daughter as well. It hasn't been easy with her this year, suprisingly your teenager thinks you no longer know anything about life and your the furthest example of cool. Well,...let me tell ya...after getting our rush swag (3 cool tees) and watching the boys perform the same cool tunes we would air drum and rock guitar too in our music room at home, will be a moment in time I will never forget.....so thanks guys for having such a wonderful career for us all to enjoy. Cheers, MFG

  • Rush rocks!

by eggle on 2012-10-18Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Rush are amazing! They are a 3 man band who sound like an 8 man band. Their unique sound didn't disappoint. The only thing that did was the sound in the ACC - if you're not on the floor or near the center of the arena be prepared for echoes of sound all over the place. It's a disaster. They need to absorb some of the noise bumping around in the upper levels. Once you get past the noise, the band didn't disappoint!

  • It's Rush, what else to say?! :D

by Envirotech on 2012-10-18Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Saw both shows in Toronto, was at Rushcon the whole weekend. A non stop Rush party for almost 4 days straight. The guys really love coming home, I don't think I have ever seen Geddy do that many leaps around on the stage before. And his singing during Headlong Flight, just amazing how long he holds those notes! For me I've seen wayy to many Rush shows now to really choose a single favorite, each one has it's own highlight and memories and fans who I've met and shared the moment with. But it's always great to see them in Toronto, it's only a 45 minute drive away from home for me for one, and they always seem to put out a little extra energy for the fans.

  • Amazing & New

by phoenixchrystal on 2012-10-17Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have not missed a tour in 20 years, and my husband hasn't missed a tour since Rush started touring. This concert was amazing; new background animation, new lighting and pyro effects, new drum solo, and a live string ensemble. Even though the first half was from their 80's era, not my fav, they had reworked the composition of the songs so they sounded better than ever. The only thing I can say is that I'm sorry we didn't get tickets for the second night!

  • Rush "Clockwork Angels Concert"

by Parts on 2012-10-16Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was over the top in virtually every department. A heavy reliance on the new material, which was bonus, as it's some of the best written work they've ever done. How after 44 years they continue to put out superior rock music overwhelms my brain. Since seeing them for the first time in my high school in Stayner ON 42 years ago last month they rarely disappointment. May they continue to rock for many more years!

  • by sureshot2 on 2012-10-16Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5
