Although there was some beautiful dancing in this performance, much of the performance was devoted to exposing the persecution of Falun Dafa followers suffer in China. This in itself is not a bad thing, but the acts that dealt with this topic were amateurish and ineffective. In fact, if you were not familiar with the plight.of the Falun Dafa, you would think you were being exposed to some strange cult indoctrination. If you want to support Falun Dafa, go to the performance. If you simply want to see a traditional Chinese dance performance, I'm not sure this group is worth the steep price of the tickets.

Excellent production. The addtion of the visual effects really enhanced the spectacle.

Cult like atmosphere. Repetitive, non creative dances. Left halfway through. It became a cult like recruitment show-absolute garbage, no talent whatsoever.

This event brought the best of Chinese culture in history to us, very beautiful and inspiring. Can not wait for next year

I like Shen Yun from the begin to the end, enjoy every moment when I was there. If you do not have much money, at least see it once, you will find it worth every penny you spend.

I read some review said " Go see it to believe it, because otherwise, you are going to miss the most important thing in your life" I am really 100% agree with it. I'd like to say this is best show iin the world.

The dances are so beautiful. I do not know human body can make such beautiful movement. There are no words to describe them. You have to see with your eyes. The stories are fascinating. The first story talked about the origin of this civilization which make me think where do we come from and what's the meaning of our life. The last story enlightened me there is always hope no matter what challenges we are facing. There are ancient wisdom throughout the performance from which we can benefit. This is an amazing show! Uplifting, touching and lots of depth in it.

personally, I can tell this is authentic Chinese traditional dance and music. I went this show since 2010 and I've never seen like this kind of Chinese performance before. i go with my daughter every year since she is 5. I saw this year show at Mississauga living art center. my daughter(Korean-Canadian 9 years old) very excited and wishes that the next year show comes more fast ^^. And she recommended her Japanese class mate and her Japanese friend also watched and loved the show. i also recommended to my friends and neighbor. My favorite program was about Chinese Taoism philosopher ' laozii' program. Personally, when i think about Chinese traditional culture, i recall 'Laozi, Gonzi, and journey to the west' ^^. Those who consider to go, i strongly recommend to visit shenyun website and under the learn section there are Chinese story section specially 'journey to the west' because my Canadian friends don't know much about it. If you know better, you could enjoy more! Hope this world-wide national heritage could keep continue every year. I really loved it!

I have attended this show for a few years in a row, every year is a complete new show, and it performs authentic traditional Chinese culture, and even more surprising, the music is performed by live orchestra, it is well worth the money and suitable for all ages, all ethnic groups. anyone can come and enjoy this beautiful show with your friends, and family, Highly recommended, and don't wait until last minute, the ticket go very fast.

So colorful, so rich of history, so pure, so much glorious, poetry, spiritual and magical! Especially those colors, I'll say it was like rainbow come to life on the stage! I took my 16 year old boy to the show in Hamilton. He enjoyed it. He said he learnt the different layers of story telling through music and dance that he couldn't learn from the books. I recommend that everyone should go see this incredible beauty.

This performance is absolutely amazing. Choreography, costumes, 3-D backdrops and music are top-notch. The stories touched my heart deeply. Just could not get enough of it, would definitely go back!

This is the best show I have ever watched! I truly enjoyed every minute of the show, animated backdrops to change with the programs, live orchestra and best classic Chinese dance, they are synchronized precisely and perfectly! I absolutely recommend this show to all of my friends!

The costumes ,the blaze of colour and the talent are amazing. Except for Tibetan Drums, enjoyed the second half of the show more.
