#1 Must See
by Bowster on 2010-12-27National Arts Centre - OttawaThis is the fifth year of my seeing this show in total admiration. Every year, it has touched my heart and enthralled my spirit. With so many dancers, both male and female, performing such a thrilling sequence of co-ordinated group dances involving such amazing tumbling and flip-overs in the air and the highest forms of ballet, it was all so smooth and pleasing splendor of a feast to the eyes - not one flaw. The inner spirit of the dancers, tenors, sopranos and orchestral blending, at once transported me to blissful experiences - that I look forward to renewing my inner spirit every year. Last year, I sat in the 3rd row from the front of the Orchestra. This year it was even better as I got to see it from Row K - It is invaluable - you cannot put a price on this Shen Yun performance which has left lasting memories to cherish from. I cannot single out any one of the individual dances, acts, plays or music, as they were all so engrossing - maybe the Plum Blossom dance and the Naughty Monks are a stand-out this year. I have no hesitation in recommending it to audiences in other cities the Shen Yun is touring. Cherish this delightful performance, everyone, irrespective of age. Bow
