About

Canadian punk rockers Simple Plan are a Vans Warped Tour staple, having played there every summer from 1999 to 2005. In 2011, Simple Plan joined the Warped Tour once again treating ticket buyers to high-energy live concerts anchored by hits like "I'm Just a Kid," "I'll Do Anything," and "Shut Up!" The band's show has been recorded on two separate live albums: "Live in Japan 2002," during their sold out run there, and "MTV Hard Rock Live." Simple Plan returned with their fifth studio album "Get Your Head On!" in 2013, and it includes guest appearances from Mark Hoppus  of Blink 182 and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.

Simple Plan is composed of childhood friends who got together in the early '90s under the moniker Reset before changing names and releasing their debut, "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls," in 2002. The Canadian rockers have won numerous awards at the MuchMusic Awards, Juno Awards, Teen Choice Awards and NRJ Music Awards. The band is also active in charitable efforts, such as MTV Asia Aid, MADD, RAAADD and Make-A-Wish Foundation, and launched their own non-profit in 2005 that focuses on teen problems like suicide and drug addiction. Simple Plan is a band that has survived nearly fifteen years of recording and touring in an industry not known for longevity. The group continues to do it with fantastic live sets and philanthropy.

An amazing concert I will never forget! Having the opportunity to celebrate 15 years since the release of the NPNHJB album with the guys was an honour & a show I will never regret attending (I made a trip in from Victoria, BC)

The Bottom Line and Courage my Love were the perfect openers for the show! Selfish Things not so much. But Simple Plan was incredible from the moment they got on stage until they left. Their high energy was contagious and everything about their set was simply fantastic. Can't wait to see them again!

  • These guys have it down pat.

I enjoyed the opening act Marianas Trench, who I had not seen before. They had a small budget to work with but made the best of it. Some interesting costumes and set pieces, singing and music all on par with the album recordings. I first saw Simple Plan at the Warped Tour at Thunderbird Stadium. I did not know who they were at the time. But I immediately I noticed that these guys knew how to have a good time. They genuinely enjoy what they do. And this was before they hit the big time. This was again the case, they performed all the hits, put on a good show, and sounded great. I would recommend seeing this band live if you can!

  • Welcome to a Simple Plan Show

I've been waiting almost 14 years to see Simple Plan live, and I'm glad to say they didn't disappoint! They played a mix of old songs and new, conducting huge sing-alongs and basically making me feel like I was in high school again. They had a lot of energy and sounded exactly like how I imagined them - really enjoyed their performance!

Had a great time at the concert at the ACC, it was totally worth the wait for the postponed date. Loved that they played so many of my favourites off their first two albums.

Great venue. Small crowd but it was a nice personal level concert. You could tell all had fun-especially when Simple Plan told all to come down to floor level. The language of some of the band members was at times a little strong for a 10 year old but that's the chance you take when you go to a rock concert. I've seen SP twice and both were amazing shows. Faber Drive did a great job as well-knew more songs from them than I thought

We enjoyed this concert but it could have been a sold out concert in estevan if it had been on a weekend!! This concert had around 1000 fans. Pathetic turn out. Wish Mariannas Trench would have also come.

Simple Plan is my favourite band in the whole world, and they did not disappoint. This was the third time I got to see them perform and they were so amazing. Marianas Trench is another one of my favourite bands and they were awesome! TKWC and ATL were pretty good as well. This concert was so great! It also helps that I had excellent seats.

  • Phenomenal

by rainingice on 2012-03-16Pacific Coleseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Simple Plan, Marianas Trench, All Time Low, and These Kids Wear Crowns were all amazing! It was the craziest night of my life; I screamed more at the concert than I had ever screamed in my life. Even though the tickets were expensive, it was totally worth it.

  • Amazing concert!!!!

My best friend and I take our daughters to usually 2 concerts a year. This one landed on my best friends daughters birthday. She is in love with Josh Ramsay so needless to say when he came into the stands and stood right beside me ....well she was in awe along with my daughter and their friends!!!! Josh touched her arm as he returned to the floor and that certainly made her night. All of the bands did an amazing job!!! This was probably one of the best concerts we have taken the girls too!!! I just wish the concession stands etc would have their prices at a decent markup level....not a "I need to get a second mortgage on my home type of pricing"

  • Simple Plan with Mariana's Trench

    by BigMama1999 on 2012-03-11ACC - TORONTORating: 5 out of 5

This concert was a birthday present for our twin daughters who turned 13 yrs old! We all had an amazing time from beginning to end! Very memorable indeed! Great concert!

  • AWESOME CONCERT

by mtrenchgirl on 2012-03-04Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I saw SP, at the ACC on Feb 19 with Marianas Trench, All Time Low and TKWC. I love Simple plan and they did a killer job, but I felt that Marianas Trench was alot better. I think it is probably because on paper the bands have a similar style, but Mtrench put on a show, SP put on a concert. But I would definitely reccomend going to see this AWESOME Canadian band.

  • Hmmmm

by Agamemnon on 2012-02-29ACC - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Seeing these guys for the second time I found that the last time was a better show since they were doing more of their new album this show. Every time they played songs from their first 2 albums they refered to them as old school unfortunatly thats what myself and my daughter wanted to hear. Looking at the people there I was surprised the range of the age and most of the songs from the new album people were sitting down in the section I was in. They wanted to hear the "old school " stuff even my daughter age 20. When the these guys started half of their audience now was between 4-8 years of age. Mariana's Trench puts on a amazing show and the songs were great to listen to. I think they did it better then Simple Plan

  • These Boys Put On Quite a Show!

by ShelbyCowboy on 2012-02-29MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Thought that both Mariana's Trench and Simple Plan put on AMAZING shows. They really worked their butts off and kept things original and exciting. Mariana's Trench weren't able to hit a few of the really high notes, for example the note belted out in Hadn't Had Enough, but overall the show was amazing. I loved the props, like the beach balls, that Simple Plan used. Also it was fantastic how members of both bands went up into the stands to sing parts of some songs, some even went by themselves with out body guards which was quite ballsy so it definitely added something extra to the performance.
