That was just about one of the most memorable concerts I have been to. It was better than I expected and was worth the drive down from Barrie. I would definitely go to see them again based on the performance last night. It was visually brilliant, and the sound was clean and loud. My ears are still ringing a bit today, should have worn plugs. Any way this show was 5 stars all the way.
Really disappointed in how badly this show came off. I was at the last Puppy show @ the Guvernment and it rocked. The sound at this show was all bass, some treble, and nothing in the middle. Even the visuals were a poor effort. All I could hear was some electro-fuzzed vocals and the drums. Left halfway through.
I've waited a long time to get the chance to see them, had heard that they were amazing live and I wasn't disappointed!
...small stage, they owned it. Simple, cheap set imaginatively used. Ogre created a creepy character that enters as an old man and regresses....really great set but The Phoenix sound sucked, burying cEvin Key's synth and sample washes....still, a great addition to the Puppy universe...
