Was an amazing show so much energy and crowd was crazy. I will definately be going to this show again when they return.
Chino rocked to open up got everyone vived up and ready for the big show. When the show was ready so was the crowd. The mosh pit was wild cory exploded and so did my ears it was loud. Even cory commented on how loud the crowd was said that we out did Vancouver and everyone went crazy. Before I forget was not forgetable as was the whole thing. I can see-I can type but I can't hear....great show.
The line up was beyond stupid last night. We arrived before the doors were supposed to open and still missed 3/4 of the Deftones show. The band I hoped to see most! Slipknot was definately very entertaining. The general admission atmosphere was also awesome. Edmonton needs a new venue!
I have never been to a concert where the atmosphere was that amped!! It was so entertaining to watch and the band interacted with the crowd alot but in a way that it didn't slow down the pace of the concert. I can not wait until they come back to Edmonton!!!! We will definately be going again.
this was the first time i've seen slipknot. i had no idea how entertaining they were. obviously, they are fantastic musicians, but they are excellent showmen as well. definitely see this show. this is metal at its finest.
Easily the best concert all year, very intense crowd. The lead singer really knew how to stir up the crowd. Excellent.
Good time, disapointed that we missed Deftones, Slipknot made up for it.
slipknot did not disapoint, it was everything and more that a metal show should be. They really have something unique going on. There stage set up is really cool to and super high energy. I really liked front man Cory Talors interaction with the crowd he really made it fun for every one. On a scale of 1 to 10 this show was 1500.
The energy was fantastic and the crowd was insane. Slipknot is not only amazing live, but the band gives you a feeling of complete and utterLove.
BOTH BANDS RIPPED VANCOUVER APART. CHINO WITH HIS SCREECHING HOWLS AND SLIPKNOT WAS TIGHTER THAN EVER.
The concernt was surprisingly in match up to some of the bigger band concernts I have seen. The energy level in the areana was phenomenal. Excellent stage prescence even with minimal stage props. Good line up of songs, by the time the concert was finished everybody was exhausted therefore eliminating the 'rioting' excellent crowd control. Appreciative of the crowd made everyone feel a part of the music, this made it very fun. A very interactive band that includes the audiance in almost every song. Great Job. I look forward to seeing them again in the future.
I have been waiting 10 years for this, just imagining what I would do if I ever got the chance to see Slipknot live.... Well the day has come and gone and I'll tell you this, it was hands down the best performance I have ever been to. Worth the wait 100%. Only problem is that I didn't get floor seats so now my goal is to get them some time hopefully in the near future. Then I get to be part of the true Slipknot experience.
Without a doubt the best concert I have ever seen. Not a fan of the opening band Deftones, aptly named band if you ask me. Just made Slipknot look even better. Can't wait till they come back!!!
Slipknot was unforgettable. From the first song right straight through to the 4th encore the masked men from Iowa did what so few bands deliver any more, a kick-ass rock show. The energy these guys put out in concert is amazing and with 8 people in the band there's always something going on onstage. I think the biggest surprises for me were the members of the band that I thought would have the least to do; Chris the Pinocchio Geek and Shawn the Dead Clown played percussion kits that sat at the front of either side of the stage that were made up of kettle drums and beer kegs that they played with drumsticks, clubs, and baseball bats. Plus the kits rotated, rose up in the air about 15 feet (with various different band members hanging on while they spun around) and had video monitors on them showing the crowd on big screen TV mounted on the front of the kettle drum. The lead singer, Corey Taylor, was in excellent form as well and his connection with the audience is amazing. Multiple times he thanked the crowd for their support and reminded us all that their band is no record company "project" spun together by executives in a boardroom just to screw you out of your money. These are 8 committed entertainers that know how to put on a spectacular high energy show and give their fans their money's worth. I will go see these guys every time I can from now on, in the world of manufactured formula music these days seeing someone break the trend so aggressively is not only refreshing, it's inspiring. It's great to know there are other brothers and sisters out there that are also dedicated Slipknot fans because they're a dedicated REAL band.
Actually it was my children who went and they thought it was a great concert!
AWESOME CONCERT! SLIPKNOT WAS AMAZING!! JOEY WAS INCREDIBLE AS USUAL!
Best show ever! They are amazing live, any die hard fans dream!
