I'm so glad they stopped in Winnipeg this year, the Burton Cummings Theatre was packed! I was in the fifth row, so the view was great, and the dancers are phenomenal! Definitely worth every penny! I will attend again.

  • So You Think You Can Dance Review

by Dreamer on 2016-01-21Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour was everything I was hoping it would be and then some. I wanted to see this so badly that for the first time in my life, I bought a single ticket, front row center and didn't for a split second hesitate to go on my own. I have watched this show almost every year from the first audition to the finale and seeing it live just added so much more to the enjoyment of the show. I REALLY hope they continue to come to Canada and specifically Winnipeg as I would definitely make this an annual event to attend.

The concert was amazing. The dancers are definitely hard working and it certainly showed in their performances. Loved it.

  • Full of Energy!

This is the 3rd show we've seen. Twice in Victoria and once at the Tacoma Dome in 2010. The skills the dancers have are amazing. This show really brings out the best in all of the contestants, and teaches them many other styles they would never had tried. You always feel that no matter how many shows they are doing on the tour, each one of them puts on the best performance they can. It is no wonder the choreographers win so many awards

  • SYTYCD - Amazing Talent ... Poor Venue Seating

by DanceFan301 on 2016-01-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing with continuous routines of various groups. These are all very talented and dedicated dancers. While there was some more popular routines from the show, there were some new ones and it was apparent that the dancers continue to develop their skill since the show. The only downfall to the evening, which is significant, was the venue seating. Although we were on the first balcony the view was fantastic ... until somebody sits in the row in front of you. My wife and I are of average stature but unless you are six feet tall and sit high and/or there is a young child sitting front of you, the evening is spent looking around someone's head. We could hear others behind us complaining that they could not see well and have heard from people in general that this is a typical problem with the Jubilee Auditorium. Unless you are seated in a first row or with no one immediately in front of you, it is not possible to view the entire stage. And that is a huge disappointment with this type of show since they have large groups and/or use the whole stage.

  • Amazing experience!

The show was amazing! And the meet and greet portion of it was fantastic! I'm so glad that I decided to spend the extra money for it. The meet and greet was very well done. My girls had an hour to walk around and talk to all the dancers. They met all of them and had conversations with their favorite dancers which was an incredible experience for them. It was not your usual take a picture and go. It was well organized. It was awesome to watch live our favorite dances from the show.

This group of amazingly talented people are simply a joy to watch. They are an inspiration to youth, and one to adults as well. Amazing, non stop action filled with unique dance moves and incredible routines. I will go again and look forward to the next group of ultra talented youth as they pursue their dreams.

The meet and greet was unforgettable, all the dances was so friendly and approachable, they all made sure the meet and talked with everyone who attended. The VIP tickets where worth it!!!

  • SYTYCD Tour was amazing!

    by RBDragon79 on 2016-01-13Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

I went into this show with extremely high expectations. The dancers this year were so amazing, how could I not? The only thing I was disappointed by (show-wise) was how quickly the time went by. Every dance was flawless. The dances were exciting and so much fun. I loved every minute of it! I was most looking forward to seeing Jaja - easily my favorite this year. She was so damn good! To be honest, everyone was. It was very cool to see how much better they all have gotten since the TV show ended. I can't wait for next year's tour!

SYTYCD was seriously one of the best shows I have ever been too. Incredible dancers, choreography, music and entertainment. My daughter, friends and I couldn't stop moving. Such a mixture of music, genres and styles of dance - so entertaining!

My granddaughters REALLY wanted to go to the show.....I bought them tickets and attended with them. The highlight was watching them watch the performers. They were in awe and were energized to practice their dance routines even more now!!

Amazing show! The transitions were even awesome. The music choice and quality was great! I would buy a soundtrack if I could but I ran out to beat the parking lot congestion. Fun night! The dancers and crew nailed it!

The show lived up to all our expectations - great energy, well paced and fun. My only complaint is the late start time of 8pm. There were a lot of young SYTYCD fans here - including my two young daughters - and they had a tough time staying awake for the end. A 7pm start time would have been much more appropriate.
