    Jake and Grandma's night out

by Junelle on 2013-07-22Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Overall was amazing to watch. Was not all that taken with the music but the performers had great voices.

    Spiderman good choice for families

by DeLinda on 2013-07-11Foxwoods Theatre - New York

We selected this show so our friends could get all the benefits of a Broadway show, a musical and stunts like cirque du solail! Everyone in the party was very pleased with our seats and the show. We all agreed that the Goblin was the best character - he had such fun with the role! The actor playing Araneae is an excellent singer - excellent pitch! It was an interesting introduction to the story using Araneae as a character that becomes Parker's inner voice. There were a wide variety of people in the audience from couples to families. Dress was casual.

    The special effects are amazing!

by sleepdeprived27 on 2013-05-11Foxwoods Theatre - New York

I have seen all the Spider-Man movies and even I was astounded at some of the special effects in this play. The music is good but the love songs are the weakest. Good performances by all the actors. There probably should be a reminder to the audience members with kids to have them be quiet during the performance.

    Spectacular, High Flying

by TheRaven231 on 2013-03-10Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Great show, kids love it, it was very entertaining except for some moments that were long in the story. Would watch it again... it was very spectacular to see SpiderMan swing from wall to wall

    Not Your Average Web

by Aryncan on 2013-01-17Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Technically the production of Spider-Man is jaw dropping. The leads are very extremely talented and strong. The supporting cast is fabulous. That being said, the music is not memorable . That's it! Given seat "29" you would think it is in the middle of a row. Being from out of town, asking for best available, it should at least be highlighted on a seat map before final purchase is confirmed. Had I know where the seat was I wouldn't have purchased it, especially when there is so much aerial action in the theatre.

    Spider-Man was not so great : (

by MLSK on 2013-01-02Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Fantastic sets, dazzling costumes and amazing acrobatics and flying sequences! But a weak score and thin story line left us wanting more. Probably a thrill for the younger set but not this family of 4 with young adults.

Spider-Man was a fun night out!

by Holly50 on 2012-11-12Foxwoods Theatre - New York

We took our 12 year old son to see this show, his first Broadway show. We all enjoyed it, but found the first act a little slow. Too much time spent explaining the background, too many songs. The 2nd act was much better. Great flying scenes!!! We loved how the characters flew over the audience :). The Goblin was fantastic as was the lead Spoderman. The female lead was not strong enough in her role....her voice was very weak. All in all it was a fun night out. Definitely worth paying for seats in the Orchestra to be under the characters who fly across the audience!

    NOT AS GOOD AS EXPECTED

by IGLOOMAN on 2012-10-20Foxwoods Theatre - New York

MAYBE MY EXPECTATIONS WERE TOO HIGH AS I WAS SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTED IN THE SHOW OVERALL (ESPECIALLY GIVEN THE COST OF THE TICKETS). THE ACROBATICS WERE GOOD BUT SEEING THE WIRES AND HARNESSES KINDS OF TAKES AWAY FROM THE EFFECT. MUSIC WAS OK. SETS WERE GOOD. BEST LINES AND ACTING WAS THE GREEN GOBLIN.

    Check out the "spider"

by strubaby on 2012-10-16Foxwoods Theatre - New York

The play was entertaining & thrilling all in one. Sets were true to the comic book theme & I loved how it was so visually interesting throughout. Cast did a great job, sort of mocking themselves. but true to the story & their characters. Music was my least favourite part. I'm not a big fan of U2 to begin with. Otherwise, the value, the aerial work were all first rate. It was a great climax in the final scene & really used the whole theatre to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. I would definitely recommend this play to anyone who enjoys broadway theatre for it's pure entertainment value!!

    Spiderman disappoints

by Anonymous on 2012-09-18Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Singing was subpar. Music was not good at all. Story was predictable and boring. The only enjoyable character was the Green Goblin.

    Spiderman's Amazing Acrobatics

by mille on 2012-08-22Foxwoods Theatre - New York

My wife and I attended the production on our 25th wedding anniversary. We both really enjoyed the show in every aspect. It was my wife's first experience on Broadway and it left a favourable impression. Besides the cirque du soleil like acrobatics, the singing was very powerful by all performers involved, especially, Arachne. The creativity is really impressive. The illusion of depth for the street scenes was very well done.

    Exciting Spectacle

by Mcmarco on 2012-08-21Foxwoods Theatre - New York

You've heard all the negative talk about how much this show cost to put together right ? But unless you invested in it, forget about it and enjoy. This show is well worth the ticket price. It is spectacular and funny wih lots of good music (especailly if you like the u2 genre). Very good performances all around.

    Amazing Spiderman

by luckiest on 2012-08-20Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Awesome show ... Matthew was a wonderful Peter Parker. We saw Reeve in the original production and were there the night of the fall. Thrilled to see the new and improved version and will probably go again next time we get to New York !

    Spiderman was great, once

by Alphonse on 2012-08-19Foxwoods Theatre - New York

The kids loved the Spiderman play with the larger-than-life characters and the great action including Spiderman and other characters swinging through the theater. It does make the time go by quickly and it's an excellent escape for a couple of hours. As enjoyable as it was, none of us need to see it a second time.

Much improved Spider Man on Broadway

by vic344567 on 2012-07-30Foxwoods Theatre - New York

We went to SpiderMan when it was in previews and now come back to see it as it's final version. Most definately improved and I would recommend this show to anyone of all ages. The story line is vastly improved, the new MJ is far better as is Peter and MJ's story line, and Peter and Arachne's story line. It's fun rather than serious Broadway and I felt we had entertainment value for the money. With brilliant technology aspects and now a good story line, it's a memorable show for a visitor to NYC.

    It was ok

by Canadiangirl20 on 2012-07-21Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Not recommended for people who follow the spider-man story... The story line was awful as well as the music. I didn't like the fact that they invented characters for the show... On the plus side... the stage scenery was pretty great and the flying spider-man was pretty neat!
