  • The show and the skaters were amazing!!

by Candy on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

Unfortunately it took very long to enter the facility. My daughter and I were in line, outside in rain for 30 minutes and there were lots of people behind us. Not sure why that was. I’ve been to this facility before and it didn’t take that long. Unfortunately, we missed the opening group skate number😞.

  • Stars On Ice - Fantastic!

by moncton on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Stars on Ice and other ice shows over the last 30 years. But it was hands down, the best presentation of all of them. Emotional, talented skaters, engaging, real

  • The Stars on Ice show was EXCELLENT!!!

by Skater fan on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was AWESOME!!! Loved it!! The skaters were all AMAZING 🤩❤️ I was disappointed that the Avenir Center let the people continue entering when the show started instead of waiting between the skaters numbers. It was blocking our view of the skaters. Other than that, it was a fantastic night! Thank you!! ❤️

  • All Skating Spectator

    by KarenSkate24 on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

I truly enjoyed this skating show and was relieved that there was no piano on the ice this time- just skating. I was, however, disappointed with the way tickets were handled and the lack of staff for assisting guests to their seats which interrupted the show and compromised the show for some guests. My mother and sister-in-law were almost landed on y some latecomers and I had latecomers on either side of me. I think there was an overall confusion for many guests with their tickets plus lack of parking. Truly wish there had been assistance in the parking lot. There was also a very narrow stairs in the sections.

  • Great Show but

by Kinneyb on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

The show itself was spectacular but getting into the show was unnecessarily slow, no one likes standing in the rain for half an hour and then sitting in wet clothes for the show! Security staff were confiscating all umbrellas even though I have a text from the venue from 10/21 saying small umbrellas that fit under your seat were ok. We received several notices prior to the show about various entry points but still people who don’t attend at this venue more than a couple times a year were all trying to get into one door at gate one when there are five (?) doors available at that gate plus several other entry points/gates. As we got close to gate one there was someone from security encouraging people to go to other doors but they should have been walking up and down the line, which was several hundred metres long, doing this. I would estimate several hundred people did not get in for the start of the show.

  • Inspiring

So glad we went. Amazing skating, great entertainment but most of all inspired by them all but especially Kurt and Elvis

  • Expected more

by Rach on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 2 out of 5

No need for an intermission and doing a fund raiser for WV - poor publicity

  • Awesome

    by Kld1970 on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

The skating was excellent. I was impressed every minute. I wish the skating would have been playing on the big screen as well like at concerts. Some times it was hard to hear and see the opposite end of the ice Disappointed with the venue. The lack of ushers was frustrating as a lot of people did not get to their seats until the show started. It was very distracting.

  • Amazing performance

by Katie on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

Very talented group of skaters, got to see the fun side of figure skating intead of the competitive one

  • Show was o.k.

    by L. G. on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the show was o.k. Most of the performers were unknown to me as in previous shows were I was familiar with most of the skaters. They all did a great job but was not wowed. I guess the fact that my sister, who has trouble walking, even with a cane, and I had to walk way too far to get into the venue from the parking lot made for a not so nice experience. She was worn out. I know this has nothing to do with the show, but it certainly contributed to our overall enjoyment of the show.

  • Excellent show!

by Tash on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

As always, the Stars on Ice cast put on a fantastic show. Was especially great to see the tribute to Kurt Browning!

  • One of the Best

by Fancy on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

I can’t even express the emotions I had watching this show. Kurt Browning was a household name when I was 13 in 1993. All of the skaters were phenomenal. They all had such grace and talent. Elvis and Kurt were just so caring of the fans and made this show feel like they were just as loving towards us as we are of them. Actually all of the skaters were. I would definitely go to more shows like this in the future if it was in Moncton. I hope ticket master provides more events in New Brunswick, we are a growing province and need some entertainment.

  • Impressive Show

by JoJo on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

The venue, once you get inside, is good. Parking is limited, making it difficult for some to get there. We were fortunate to have good friends who dropped us off there, picked us up when the event was over. Otherwise, we would have had to walk a considerable distance to gain entry - more than our physical limitations (age, wearing joints, etc.) would have been allowed. Kudos to the skaters, and definitely the lighting, special effects staff.

  • I Absolutely Loved the Show!!!

by Tina on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

Overall the show was AMAZING! Hope they come back. Used to go to Ice Capades when I was younger and was overly excited to find out that Stars on Ice were coming!

  • It was fabulous. Wish I had gone before..

by Nicole on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

It was very entertaining and it was certainly much more exciting than watching it on tv.

  • Excellent!

by Ghislaine on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful experience! World class sports and arts people. Really enjoyed it. What a nice evening!

  • Show was good

    by Isabelle L on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

The show was good. We did find annoying that people kept coming in for 45 min after the show started and blocking the view every single time. It would be nice that it would be like hockey games where you are just allowed to go to seats between skaters.

  • Best evening I have had in a very long time!

by Felicity on 2023-05-06Avenir Centre - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

The skaters were on point. Funny and down to earth. Music was just right, lights were amazing! All of it was just beautiful and fun! Would pay to see them again.

  • Good show

by cl on 2023-05-05Rating: 3 out of 5

It was a good show. Really enjoyed the pairs skaters, Satoko Miyahara, Keegan Messing and Jason Brown. The stars of the show seemed a little tired. At times, the skating, music and choreographed numbers seemed off. For a 30 year career, the tribute to Kurt should have been better. Of the three of us in my group who attended the show, 1 really loved it, 1 thought it was good and the other was disappointed.

  • Excellent

by Ann on 2023-05-05Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Second time to see Stars on ice. Loved it soooo much. Sorry to see Kirt Browning go but he is still amazing after 30 years. Loved Elvis too. All the choregraphs and music was beautiful. Loved it all around.
