Great performances, full and varied show. Only complaint was the music was too old and the speakers weren't that great.
Overall a fantastic show! Wish there would have been a well-deserved tribute to Kurt showcasing his career in Stars on Ice. It would have been nice to have a video with comments from his former and present cast members. I wonder why there were not more Canadian skaters on the tour.
My friend and i thoroughly enjoy the whole show. The music was not deafening and the lighting was great . The skaters were "par excellnce" I had never see this type of skating live so it was a real thrill to see Patrick. Elvis, Kurt and especially Piper and Paul . The others were great too and i look forward to seeing them in thr future Awesome performance by all
WONDERFUL! Ads on low corner screens were a bit annoying & seat was VERY uncomfortable. Venue location, parking, line ups were TERRIBLE - as per usual at this venue! Show itself was FABULOUS!!
Was a fabulous show. So impressed by all the skaters. Was a nice surprise to see Loena Hendrickz. As always Kurt is the star and he will be missed. One of the best shows.
For my first experience seeing Stars on Ice Live I was excited for this. I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed most acts but preferred the more energetic ones with back flips and enthralling music. I had 3 children under the age of 6 with me who also sat and watched a good part of the show but were getting bored at the end as they had been there to long. They also enjoyed back flips. All in all it was a great show. If it would be a little earlier during the day, it would have been better, especially for the children.
Good relaxing show loved the view of my sears enjoyed tge sound music. The whole lineup setup was conscistent super entertaining best show worth the price
It was amazing that meeting so many skating superstars at the same time. Every skater was charm. It must be one of the best performance in this year.
I loved every second of Stars on Ice. Was happy to see all my favorites that I have been following since the beginning of their careers Kurt Browning, Elvis Stojko, Patrick Chan, Keegan Messing and Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier. Memories I will cherish for the rest of my life
This year's show was excellent. We have been every year in the past and I will say that we enjoyed this one more than most. A great variety of skaters and performances. All the best to Kurt Browning in the future!
Kurt didn’t disappoint. He and Elvis connect so well with the crowd. Jason Brown and Patrick Chan skated superbly. They both had really strong performances. Loved all of the group numbers. I came away feeling happy for Kurt’s last show tour. I know I’ll still see him around.
It was simply the best event I have attended in my 65 years. Better than NHL hockey, better than MLB, better than the NBA. Invigorating from start to finish.
This was one of the best “Stars on Ice” in recent years - a great mix of talented skaters and individual and group performances. The Kurt and Elvis number was fantastic! Kurt, you’ve been a true star and highlight and will be sorely missed, but I hope the show goes on!
The show was well presented and it was presented in a way that made it actually fun to watch for a person that isn't that much into figure skating. I would for sure recommend it to everyone
All of the skaters are phenomenal, but I particularly loved seeing some of our Canadian “greats”, and being a part of Kurt’s last hurrah! Very entertaining and moving programs as well. Nostalgic to see Kurt and Elvis together, and they, along with Patrick, “showed up” to perform for us and remind us why they are Canadian and World champions! Special shout out Keegan and Piper and Paul who has truly memorable performances, and Jason who is just so darned fun! Kurt - you brought tears to my eyes. I’ve watched you perform your entire career on the national and international stage. We will miss your uniquely, creative magic…but thanks from the bottom of our hearts for all of the wonderful memories! ❤️
From the amazing talent, to the lights, music and variety of songs, Stars on Ice was top notch entertainment!! We definitely got our money’s worth and more! Bravo!
this skating show was so great! i'm not a big fan of skating shows but i was so happy i attended this swan song for Kurt with all his friends and rivals from over the years. Elvis Stojko and Kurt did a couple numbers where there rivalry from the past was showcased in a fun way and the skating and footwork and facial expressions and fun they poked at each other was really captivating! Great to see Patrick Chan again ...his footwork and artistry is second to none. The boys really stole the show this time around! Jason Brown and Keegan Messing showed both their artistic sides and especially their fun and frolicking side! Both of them brought the audience to their feet with their fan favourites moves and music. And about the music...the soundtrack was so upbeat and current...great choices by all concerned...Whoever Bob was in the booth above really made the show a smash hit. Loved the girl from Belgium ...what a beauty especially her techno number. The Pairs and dance couples really showed the team part of the sport and the beauty and strength of dancers and pairs skaters. The skater from Japan was amazing too....she is so technical and smooth...it was such a pleasure to watch her! it was a treat to see Alyssa there as Kurt's wife and she's a terrific skater as well. The other Canadian girl...well she also skated well and entertained the audience. When Kurt did his farewell skate and said goodbye to all his show mates there wasn't a dry eye in the whole CTC center in Ottawa....what a send off! STanding ovation all around for the whole troop! Even the group skates were interesting although repetitive, but the costumes were very creative and colourful....all in all I would highly recommend this show to skating fans and non skating fans who just want an entertaining afternoon of great music and great athleticism...2 and 1/2 hours so we sure got our mone's worth! The only bad thin was the screens on the corners of the ice surface which were blocking view from the corner seats and were an eye sore in general.
Stars on Ice show is like being in a meditative state! Food for soul- pleasant to the eyes…. Elegant moves….. stars gliding on the eyes….. lighting made it even more alluring…. I have always loved figure skating….. Brave people making the twirls, jumps and elegant dance moves! Next time i will make sure to watch it from Level 1, to be much closer vs Level 2. Loved the show!
Great talent & music ! Loved seeing Kurt Browning, Elvis Stoko & Patrick Chan ! Would highly recommend……so enjoyed!
A fantastic show made extra special by being Kurt Browning's final tour.
