Starship Tickets

I booked tickets for Starship without telling my wife. We live about 5 hours driving time from Winnipeg, but we used Starship's "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," as our first dance at our wedding in the 1980's. Tickets were only $30.00 each, so we came to Winnipeg and had a great time at the McPhillips Street Station Casino. In my opinion, Starship is as good today as they were 20 to 30 years ago. The vocals are still excellent. The lead guitarist is unbelievable, and the keyboards are superb, but I was in awe of the drummer who never missed a beat! Starship delivered an excellent stage show, and the music was as good as it has ever been. They delivered all their # 1 hits like "Sara," "We Built This City," "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," and more of their past hits. We had about 1 1/2 hours of non-stop entertainment, and it was absolutely an A++ performance from start to finish. McPhillips Street Station Casino in Winnipeg is an excellent venue for holding events such as Starship. Excellent musical theatre, and I truly believe all seats are close enough to stage to engage the whole audience no matter where they sit. Good security, very clean site, with buffetts, restaurants, bars, and of course all types of gambling for those who wish to try their luck. This was our first time here--we were very impressed. We were also pleased with the service Ticketmaster gave us in helping us enjoy Starship at a price that was within our budget!
