Pech heightens the ballet's drama by reimagining Benno--Siegfried's closest friend--as the true villain, deepening the prince's turmoil and altering the story's tragic conclusion.

Dancing was spectacular as a result of hours and hours of practice! The villain played his role to perfection, and all dancers gave 100%. The extra effort was appreciated since it was the last show here.
I had a great experience! I took my 11 year old daughter to the show! The dancing was amazing, great story and the swans were brilliant! We had decent seats and I love the posters set up in the lobby to take pictures by. Overall I am happy to support live performance and Alberta Ballet!

The last performance of the run was absolutely incredible! My friend and I were awed by the beautiful costumes, the sets, and most of all the perfection of the dancers.
It was such a wonderful feeling to be able to enjoy a live event, even if we had to wear masks. I thoroughly enjoyed Swan Lake, and look forward to returning to the Jubilee for more live performances.

The principal male dancer was a joke! He couldn’t split jump over 90 degrees, the final scene had NO choreography it was pitiful! On the contrary, all the female dancers were great and the chorus parts were magical!
Everything was just great! We enjoyed the show so much. We’ll definitely go back and watch one more time. Dancers were unbelievably good. Also all the stuff were very friendly. We felt welcomed.
We bought tickets in 2019 and due to Covid had to wait awhile to see the performance. It was worth the wait. So glad I was able to see the performance. The dancers were spectacular. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the vaccine confirmation queue went as I was worried there would be issues. Everyone complied with Covid regulations and enjoyed the evening.
