About

SZA has been a game-changer in R&B ever since she became the first female artist to sign to the independent hip-hop label Top Dawg Entertainment, joining the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and ScHoolboy Q. The New Jersey-raised Grammy-winning artist  self-released two EPs before partnering with TDE in 2013 to distribute her breakthrough EP Z, which charted on the Billboard 200 and featured the certified-gold single “Child’s Play” with Chance the Rapper. While preparing her highly-anticipated debut album Ctrl, SZA co-wrote songs like the Nicki Minaj-Beyoncé collaborative single “Feeling Myself” as well as “Consideration” from Rihanna’s 2016 album Anti. Ctrl arrived in 2017, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 behind Top 40 singles like “Love Galore” and “The Weekend” and earning five Grammy nominations. SZA would win her first Grammy as a featured artist on Doja Cat’s 2021 single “Kiss Me More,” and gained further mainstream notoriety following collaborations with Maroon 5, Cardi B and Summer Walker. Her second album SOS debuted at No. 1 in late 2022 and topped the Billboard 200 for 10 non-consecutive weeks. In 2023, SZA earned her first two Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers with SOS’ “Kill Bill” and the Drake collaboration “Slime You Out.”

  • Great event, security was a mess

by heels on 2023-03-23Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

SZA performed great, but the security and staff was a mess. After the event, we went to lost and found and couldn't find what we were looking for, so they told us to go back inside the arena. Then we're trying to go back inside, and security is saying we can't go back inside. So many conflicting and contradicting direction from staff, and in the end we couldn't find what we lost. What is going on?!

  • AMAZINGGGGGGG… except for one thing

by Leeeesha on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been a huge fan of SZA since 2016 and have always wanted to see her live. I’m so happy that I got to see her live in Van. From her dancers to the screen changes and the QUEEN herself, everything was amazing… however, the sound tech/engineer should get fired lol the openers sound was good, but when it came to SZA’s set when she started and throughout some parts of the show, the sound was very high pitched and not clear at all. It was so loud that my boyfriend and I had our ears ringing after the concert and that’s never happened before. Overall, seeing SZA made it worth having my ears ring lol

  • sza my queen

by jojo on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

it was the greatest concert i’ve been to, the set design was immaculate and everything tied together so well!!! the guy that got kicked out for dancing didn’t do anything wrong though

  • I WISH I could give more than 5 stars.

by Darian on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

THIS is isn’t even a show. This is an out of body experience. From opener to end this show was the most amazing thing I have experience in my life. I would do ANYTHING to go back. (It’s really hard to write this without swearing I’m just so passionate about sza I love her so much.)

  • SZA WAS INCREDIBLE

    by liv d on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The visuals, the dancers, HER VOICE.. nothing could’ve made the night better. It was truly the best night of my life. Only thing that sucked was how those people that were dancing on the floor got kicked out by security.. they were just dancing?? Aside from that the night was a dream!

  • Absolutely amazing.

by Aqua on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing. Nothing I’ve ever been to has been quite like it. The costume changes, set, and backup dancers were all perfect and so was SZA!!! So much fun.

  • Great concert but my seat was like a hallway

    by O on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the concert Omar & SZA performances was amazing, but I didn't like how people thought the row ones is a hallway to get to everywhere. Spilt my drinks, stepped on my shoes, didn't even apologize. Section 118 row 1 seats 101-102. Rogers Arena need to make sure people are getting to their seats properly and accordingly, especially an event like this.

  • life changing soul gripping world altering experience

by remy on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

i bought tickets literally 20 mins before the concert at face value and it made the experience so much more memorable. staff were so helpful in finding my seat as well. when sza came out i almost cried because the concert was so good. staff were also just so organized so it was easy to exit the concert too :)

  • Obstructed view not disclosed

by Abi on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 2 out of 5

SZA was amazing! But the issue was our seats. For about half the time, we couldn’t see the artist on stage because there were multiple speakers in our way. We couldn’t see the screens AT ALL because of the speakers. I wish these seats had been advertised as obstructed. I would have bought different seats otherwise. We weren’t parallel to the stage or anything our angle would have been great of the speakers were moved back :(

  • It was amazing. Best show ever.

by Bonita on 2023-03-22Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I would definitely see her again. She’s an awesome performer. Stage presence was impeccable.

by gogo on 2023-03-22Rating: 5 out of 5

This was my first concert and on my birthday so its going to be hard to top. Everything from Seek and Destroy to Good Days was unbelievable.

  • Scotiabank Arena

    by S. L. on 2023-03-21Rating: 5 out of 5

Not y’all taking off stars for the delays. That’s the stadium/arena’s fault, NOT Sza’s. Y’all realize this page is for reviews of her performance, and not how long it took you to get in to your seats. So disappointed smh. Sza was spectacular tho, well worth the price!!

  • Unreal performance

by Vica on 2023-03-20Rating: 5 out of 5

The show @ Rogers Arena was a 10/10 performance. The crowd was amazing, hopefully SZA will come back to Vancouver ASAP!
