Tash Sultana is a multi-instrumentalist who went from busking the streets of Melbourne, Australia, to releasing platinum-selling albums and appearing on high-profile festival stages like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits. In 2016, their DIY recording of “Jungle” catapulted them to international fame, with the YouTube clip receiving over 1.6 million views. In 2017, with just one EP under their belt, Sultana became the first pre-debut artist to sell out three shows at London’s Brixton Academy. Flow State (2018) became Sultana’s debut studio album, spawning the popular tracks “Mystik” and “Murder to the Mind,” each showcasing Sultana’s laid-back and soulful stylings. NME described the Aussie’s second album, Terra Firma (2021), as “a record made by someone with something poignant to say.” On March 13, 2023, Sultana released “James Dean,” the lead single off their 2023 EP Sugar, as they prepared to embark on an expansive North American tour.

Amazing concert, one of the best performances seen by an artist and i've seen many ... The fact that she can make you feel as one with the music and plays so many instruments is crazy, and shes so good at every single one of them. the only downside was that they way overpacked the MTELUS venue so we could barely see her half the time but she was amazing nonetheless.

The most talented multi instrumentalist who puts on such a fun, interactive, high energy performance every single time. Sing-song melodies mixed with with rip roaring guitar solos, seductive sax runs and an insane array live looping endless other instruments, Tash truly is a force to be reckoned with.

Literally the best show I saw in years . She’s is amazing, having fun all around with just every instrument possible , giving texture and wholeness to something as simple as a loop. You can feel her 100% in the moment , when childish pure joy meet wisdom . Goosebumps, tears and a sore throat, the waiting in the beginning that took a tole on us .. well she made it all worth it . Still- would have been nice to have a better transition between the acts , as it was crowded and we were standing . But I would sure do it again to feel that close to her music again. Tash - you matter so much to so many. Proudly one of them . Xx And a big wow to the fondation she supports with her wife !!
