I have seem Tedeschi Trucks many times through the years and always love their music. Their performance was excellent. We had great seats in section 202 and to my displeasure people in front of us stood up for the entire performance and continually moved to get refreshments throughout the entire performance. Totally inconsiderate to those behind them. I don't mind getting up for certain sections of a performance to show your appreciation but treating fixed seating sections as a mosh pit area is just not right. I have been to the venue numerous time for concerts and we found that the sound system was not set up correctly for such a performance. Not a positive experience this time.
The show was fantastic, Tedesc Trucks band was very tight, good horn section, and a guest appearance by Warren Hayes for two songs. Two ticks off the bucket list in one show..... Excellent Gov`t Mule was great, I mean Soul Shine.............. Two days off work, bit of a distance drive, expensive hotel room...... Would not hesitate to do it again
We love Tedeschi Trucks but felt this time around there were too many warm up bands and not enough of our fav Trucks!! Would have liked a few more songs… Less Mule more Trucks ❤️ Also, wanted to hear Midnight in Harlem and Angel from Montgomery, but they weren’t played. ☹️
The Tedeschi-Trucks Band is as accomplished and polished a large blues and blues-rock band as there is playing today. Susan Tedeschi provides strong vocals and excellent guitar work while Derek Trucks displays his incredible vituosity on lead guitar with tastefully blistering solos. Tedeschi is supported by three outstanding backup singers who were given opportunities to showcase their talents individually. The band also included a highly competent three-piece horn section, a terrific keyboard player, bass player, and two drummers to drive the rhythm. Most of the well-chosen selections were T.T. compositions with notable exceptions of excellent covers of Bonnie Rait's I Can't Make You Love Me and the Joe Cocker version of The Beatles' A Little Help From My Friends, which closed the show in rousing fashion!
I was in first row of section 4, figuring being in front row above aisle would be a good spot. However, the elevated wheelchair seating section at back of section 3 totally obstructed the view of stage. This should be disclosed prior to purchase. Budweiser Stage, Toronto. Sec 409, Row A, Seat 18 & 19. Sep 03, 2025
Last year, Detroit, this year Toronto. Of course I’ve seen them a couple times here in Ottawa too. 4 shows in total. With many more to come God willing. Love this band !
The Budweiser stage was a fantastic venue, we were very close (section e ) and i had the time of my life. Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi make the most beautiful music i have ever heard.
OVER THE TOP!!! First time seeing Tedeschi Trucks in person. What a treat! Susan Tedeschi never disappoints with her incredible and versatile voice and exceptional guitar style. Derek Trucks was a virtuoso on the strings! Fingers a blur, as the naked eye struggled to catch each finger pick. Every person on stage was an artist in their own right. Backing vocals were amazing!! Each vocalist a talented lead. We were riveted to the stage from start to finish! Captivated by each song. Definitely coming back for more. Please. Just say when. :)
The musicality of the guitar work put forth by the TTB (and Gov't Mule) were outstanding! I particularly liked that the TTB did not stick to a setlist. Their covers of "I Can't Make You Love Me"and "With A Little Help From My Friends"were particularly on point. Clear love for both Bonnie Raitt (with whom Susan Tedeschi shares a vocal resemblance) and the Beatles were on display.
