Tedeschi Trucks Band is a 12-piece powerhouse ensemble led by the husband/wife duo of guitarist Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, "two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation" (NPR). With their own potent original songwriting alongside an extensive canon of influences, the dynamic all-star band owns a reputation for world-class musical expression bolstered by each album and every performance.
Since forming in 2010, TTB's caravan has traveled countless miles to bring their music to audiences around the world. From sold-out multi-night residencies across America to barnstorming tours through Europe and Japan to the flagship Wheels of Soul annual summer amphitheater tour, the band's shows are an eagerly anticipated highlight of the live music calendar and "nothing short of exhilarating" (Salon). Whether on stage or in the studio, when these supremely talented artists get together, it's a musical experience of profound quality.
OUTSTANDING!!!!! From the moment Ziggy came on to the finale with both bands, it was an exceptional night of music and entertainment.
All the musicians were lead performers themselves. Quality songs. You couldn’t put together a better musical act, then Tedeschi Trucks band. I’ve seen him twice and hope they come back to Canada.
The band is amazing on every level Derek Trucks is one of the best guitar players in the world. The entire band is outstanding. This is what live music is all about. See them any and every chance you get.
Brilliant musicians great jams, Tedeschi Trucks seem to change the setlist every show, remincent of the Alman Brothers or the Grateful Dead. Final encore with Ziggy Marley's entire band was awesome. Derek Trucks is among the very best players in the world
I bought a ticket that put me really near the stage. The acts were amazing but my experience was ruined by a very inconsiderate couple who keep standing directly in front of me and obstructing my view. When I tried to stand off to the side where i could at least see the stage, without obstructing anyone, the venue staff informed me that I couldn't stand there. This really made it difficult for me to enjoy the show.
Ziggy Marley and Tedeschi Trucks Band put on great shows. Entry to the venue was organized and quick. Info about limited parking at the venue was not accurate. There were tons of empty parking spaces at the venue.
Talented musicians, wonderful vocals and great guitars.
By far, Tedeschi Trucks is my fav band today and as a live act, Thursday's concert was incredible. It was a rich night of music with so much diversity and flow...as many different members of the band and singers were featured. To me, This is one of the ways they have really matured as a band and their generosity to fellow members is wonderful. And let's not overlook Derek Trucks and his unparalleled role as guitarist. The band seemed to really love the T.O. concert vibe and let's hope its not another 10 years to see them here again.
Some of the best musicians touring right now! Derek's guitar playing, Susan's voice, and the band members are all extremely talented. Played some great covers and their own songs as well. Glad I got to see them live!!
I’ve seen 40 yrs of the best. I thought who would top what I’ve seen so far? Tadeshi Trucks Band that’s who! So lucky to see them at their only Canadian show. The most talented musicians in the business today! They could easily do a Canadian Tour Waiting impatiently for the next show RockinWheel.com
Hope they come back soon they were awesome. Ziggy was great as well. Susan can really play Derek war amazing as always.
I waited several years to be able to see TTB perform live and was not disappointed in the least. They are superb performers that put all the pieces together for a great experience. Of the videos I have seen of them, Susan was the lead singer, yet in this performance they had others performing that duty and all of them were excellent. Vocals in this group are outstanding. Derek's guitar was superb as I expected, and the rest of the band kept up to create a great concert experience. The dual drums offers a unique sound that offered opportunity for exciting solos and thundering beats. They were tight as could be. I look forward to seeing TTB again in the future.
The band was on tonight. The set list fantastic. The musicianship from each member, bang on. I mean, when it was their moment, they could have stole the show - truly, that's how good each was tonight. And please give it up for the 2 drummers!!!!! Damn. Derek was precision. He gave us a number of jaw dropping solo's. Susan had quite a few that in themselves could have stole a show. But Derek, man the dude can play. But the night belonged to the band as a whole. It will be tough to beat this night as the best show of 2023 for me
Loved every minute from this incredibly talented group of musicians.
Best Band on tour. All superb musicians, led by T and T who are so good in their own abilities, they are confident enough to let their band mates shine. All this leads to two hours of music magic!! This is the third time I have seen them perform in four different venues, in two different countries. Each concert was different, with new music. Amazingly, each one was better than the last!
Seen this band 7 times. Each show is better than the last. Best live band out there right now. Only band that’s close is Dead and Co. And perhaps Phish.
The band was full of individual talent. An amazing show. The venue needs to stop gouging concert goers. Will not purchase anything there again.
Best overall sound from the mixing board team!! Keep up the fantastic sound quality.
Great concert in a great venue. We were disappointed that they didn't perform Midnight in Harlem. We kept thinking they'd do it during their finale but they didn't!
Being one of our most favourite bands, we've seen TTB about eight times; many years ago in Toronto and various locations within the state of New York, but most often the Lewiston Artpark. The Artpark is also an outdoor amphitheater. From Burlington it's equal distance in drive but tickets are a fraction of the cost of the Budweiser stage. More importantly, the artpark sound is outstanding, no matter where you are located. At the Bud stage, we were in section 409, second row, and every amazing high note came through as pure static; grimacingly harsh. Extremely disappointed with the sound; give me the Lewiston Artpark any day.
