Absolutely Fantastic , literally had goosebumps for at least half the show ! . Susan's voice was in excellent form , Derek played as only Derek can ! , and we even caught him smiling quite a bit towards the end of the show . The entire band was super tight and they played with some serious passion . Acoustics were very good and they really gave us a show given the 2 and a half hours of solid music . I would have been happy paying triple or more for that concert !!! .

Tedeschi Trucks Band is a 12-piece powerhouse ensemble led by the husband/wife duo of guitarist Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, "two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation" (NPR). With their own potent original songwriting alongside an extensive canon of influences, the dynamic all-star band owns a reputation for world-class musical expression bolstered by each album and every performance.

Whether on stage or in the studio, when these supremely talented artists get together, it's a musical experience of profound quality.

by 2bislander on 2011-10-27The Danforth Music Hall Theatre - TorontoThis concert was amazing. It's great to see a big band with horns, backup vocals that really meant something and a powerful wall of sound coming at you with solo's from all of them. Tedeschi's voice was so powerful and clear and Trucks on guitars, you just don't get any better than that.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Tedeschi Trucks Band-Toronto gig
by swortzy on 2011-10-26The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoThis had to be one of the best concerts I have ever attended! 11 piece band; horn section (3); dual drummers; bassist-long time Allman Bros band member; 2 back up vocals; piano/organ; Derek Trucks unbelievable guitar playing & Susan Tedeschi awesome vocals! It just doesn't get any better. How often does a 11 pc band tour together? Bands may record together but seldon does the whole band tour. Susan commented in aToronto Sun interview that this is not a money making gig. In fact they probably loose money.....quote......."It’s about making real music." And that they accomplish to the enth degree!!! Hoping they are back soon....................I will be there.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Tedeschi Trucks Buffalo Show
by Fallguy on 2011-10-18University At Buffalo Center for the Arts - BuffaloFantastic show!! From the opener (Scrapomatic) to the whole bands' performance this was A1. Mike Mattison's vocals and range are amazing on the Scrapo's tunes and his lead guitarist is no slouch as well. As he says though "I might need to get my lead a bass player for Christmas" As for the T & T band WOW!! Talk about professional's who LOVE what they're doing! I've seen Derek about 5 or 6 times with the DT Band to the Allman's and now this post-revelator group and he just get's better and more innovative. Susan can belt out with the best of ANY ladies over time and to me is the perfect cross between Bonny Raitt & Melissa Ethridge. Her playing also just keeps getting better and better. Nice touch with the horns and duo drummers and last but not least "World class bass playing." Would HIGHLY recommend this show!! Chris Niagara Falls,Canada
Rating: 5 out of 5 Tedeski and Trucks Band was pleasure to see.
by Slim on 2011-10-18University At Buffalo Center for the Arts - BuffaloI've been watching video clips in anticipation and was very excited to go see them in person. It was interesting to see and hear throughout the evening how each member of this 11 piece band got to shine. There were drum solos, bass and keyboard, and horn solos. It was a great night and my wife and I have this good memory to share. "Thanks"
