The New York Times calls it "the best musical of this century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weekly says, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jon Stewart calls it "a crowning achievement. So good it makes me angry." It's The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony Award® winning Best Musical.
I have not laughed like that for a very long time!!
This was my second time seeing it and I still loved it. I saw and heard things I missed the first time. The singing, the lyrics and the dancing are so funny. Worth it to go again.
Show was hilarious. I laughed so much. Not for the easily offended. Wished it was here longer. I wouldn't minded going to see it again.
The show was terrific—high energy, good comedic timing on some difficult-to-pull-off lines, deceptively strong vocals. Absolutely hilarious—just make sure you investigate before deciding who to bring so you have a hilarious, rather than uncomfortable, evening. As the women in front of me who laughed so hard she cried said after, “ I am SO glad I didn’t bring my mother to this’
Great story, amazing talent, non-stop laughter filled up the whole theatre
The show itself was fantastic, nothing could top that. It was like Southpark come to life, and the music was so good. Have been listening to the soundtrack on repeat since the show ended. I do, however, have complaints about attendees. The man behind us kept putting his feet on our seats, or kicking the back, and someone behind us was belching thru the entire show. Also a bunch of people came in after the performance had started and were a distraction as they found their seats. It was pretty rude.
Leave your personal sensibilities and political correctness at the door and enjoy the clever writing and amazing singing and dancing.
very witty, excellent cast, brilliant writing - loved it
It was very entertaining! We really enjoyed the music, actors, etc. It made us get up and cheer!
The dancing, singing and acting was good. There should have been a warning about foul and vulgar language. They took the story way too far over an acceptable level. We left feeling very disgusted and a waste of good money. I would not recommend this show ever!
This was one of my favourite Broadway shows, and I have seen many. Perhaps the language might be a bit much for some, but if you are not offended by course language, this is one of the funniest shows EVER!
This show is impeccably written and so much fun. The cast was amazing and brought the audience right into the show.
I obviously hadn't done my research. I went by all the rave reviews I had heard about the play. The acting, singing and dancing were good, but it isn't my type of humour or theme. I was amazed that so many of the crowd were finding so much of the play funny. It is fairly crude and slapstick humour. Not what I enjoy.
This is such a belly laugh show. It’s very adult so don’t go if you your a bit prissy or you can’t see the funny side of religions, but do go if you want to have a great evening. The quality of the cast, music, dancing and set make this one of the best musical comedies I’ve seen. Put your serious side on hold and enjoy yourself.
Very well done, so professional. We laughed very hard .
Brilliant musical! Very funny, great acting and a pleasure to watch!
The show was funny, entertaining and had great music. I laughed so hard I cried.
I absolutely loved this musical. I’m not sure I would have brought my 14 year old had I known the content but he knew every song and loved it as well.
Although the cast was talented, the content and presentation were vulgar and offensive.
It was an entertaining fun show in a good venue. Didn’t disappoint
