  • bouncing souls you make my souls bounce

by blackivy on 2009-10-08RICKSHAW THEATRE - VANCOUVERRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time at the rickshaw theatre. What a great venue! The bouncing souls were a ton of fun, and they interacted with the crowd which was awesome. You could jump on stage and dance or sing with them and they didn't care if you jumped off the stage to crowd surf. It was neat to see a band let people do that! They are really fun live, I would definitely go again

  • All Good!

Start off by saying what a cool venue. The slope of Rickshaw made for easy viewing and the sound was fantastic. The staff was nice and remembered our previous drink orders. On to the bands, I liked the enthusiasm and the organs from Saint A(?). My husband was very impressed with Youth Brigade. Bouncing Souls were GREAT! They make it seem effortless but they sounded so good. Lean on Sheena rocked! I liked their set a lot. Only complaint I heard was they started their on core with a new song, although I thought it was good and upbeat at least. No Ole, Ole, Ole which was too bad as it was the entrance song at our wedding! However the crowd sang it, which was cool. I also liked the last song and thought it was cool how the other bands and some of the crowd got onstage too. Great people and Good times!

Both Bouncing Souls and Youth Brigade sounded great. Bands were tight and very entertaining. Rocked the house.
