About

When The Fray first burst onto the scene in the early aughts, the Colorado-bred band introduced the world to a profoundly life-affirming form of alt-rock: timeless but inventive, arena-sized in scope but firmly rooted in raw emotion. Over the coming years, their soul-searching songwriting and high-powered sound led to earning four Grammy Award nominations, scoring a multitude of Billboard top 10 hits, and amassing a passionately devoted worldwide fanbase. Their single "How To Save A Life" spent a staggering 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the "unofficial theme song" for Grey's Anatomy. Rolling Stone praised their "stick-in-your-head hooks and eloquent narratives," while the LA Times called their music "melodically rich." The Fray's debut album How To Save A Life (2005) is certified double-platinum in the US and has been declared one of the best-selling digital debuts of all time.

Such an amazing show - The Fray was just so good! The staff at History went above and beyond for us as well! I am 7 months pregnant and was not pregnant when buying tickets - therefore had nowhere to sit for the concert! They allowed me and my group to sit in the accessible seating area and we are so thankful!! Such a great night!

Amazing show, from both American Authors and The Fray! American Authors killed it as an opening act!

  • A great show!

Yet another great show from The Fray! I've lost track of the number of times I've seen them, ever since the first album came out. Every time they come to Toronto, I see them live and I've never been disappointed. The band has so much excellent material to work with and they variate the setlist from show to show so it never feels boring. They grown and matured over the years and get better with every show. This time there was a significant time devoted to an acoustic set and the songs felt very different that way. Amercan Authors opened for The Fray and had a great show of their own. By the time they came out on stage, the venue was already packed and people were enjoying the music. Will definitely see them live when they tour solo. Great night, well-behaved crown and excellent venue. The Fray never disappoints and is one of my favorite bands to see live.

The Fray put on the best concert I have ever been to in my life. It was perfection from vocals, to lighting, to the stellar crowd and venue. Even the opening bands were perfect for the main act to follow. Hands down the most electric and memorable concert I have ever been to and would recommend The Fray live to everyone.

Awesome concert if it wasn't for the venue... great interaction with the crowd and amazing music! Opening bands were not great though... kind of put us to sleep instead of climbing up to The Fray as a climax.
