The Lion King (New York, NY) Tickets

Took us long enough to get there , but we weren't disappointed by Lion King! The creativeness of the costumes was phenomenal. Even in silhouette the animals looked perfect! Musical score is unforgettable, and the actors amazing! Loved it!

This show was truly breath taking. From the costumes to the staging to the incredible voices... Don't miss this show! It has something for everyone; great music, humour, and tragedy. Everything was done extremely well. I wish I could go again!

I watched the play with 2 of my children 7 and 5 years old and the comments was the first part of the show was nice but the second one was incredible more action and more fun with the jock , music , good acting and the most thing the character and I recommend to get more live action like the wind , rain , heat to make the audience participate on the play and feel that we in the show , we all loved the play

What can we say front row tickets to the Lion King with my 82 year old dad. First time visit in NY! It's sooo great! I have now seen the Lion King in Toronto and again in NY, it is fantastic and wonderful! Everyone should see it! You forget that they are people and human becomes animal!

I was a little skeptical on how it was going to be pulled off but it was amazing! It followed the movie pretty well which is a big plus in my book, the costumes and stage were beyond fantastic, and the actors did a great job. If the show wasn't sold out I'd go again in a heartbeat.

I have NEVER seen anything so professionally done, every detail, every colour, the singing, the dancing, the puppetry, oh and the stage movements complete with two sides of live percussion! I actually felt "the love tonight" between the main characters which is difficult to portray but the main actors did a superb job both young and older actors. There were other Broadway shows I would have liked to have seen, but when it came down to choice, this was my #1 pick...And I am very glad to have seen this outstanding show. Which says why it's still ongoing for 10 years! Double Bravo!!

This was by far the best musical i've seen! The puppetry and artistry left you breathless. All the sets and costumes were maginificent and the singing gave me goosebumps!! I would see this again and again.

it's a very great way of starting our first ever stay in NYC. Amazing talents of "The Lion King" truly deserve to be seen by everybody visiting New York. Worth every penny!

The cast did an amazing job interpreting this classic Disney movie. All the actors/musicians were very well casted! The cast also did an amazing job interacting with the audience; in the opening sequence, right after the intermission, and in the song "I Just Can't Wait To Be King." To top ff the show, the costumes and the actors portraying the animals were amazing, you felt as if they were one of the same. I highly recommend this for everyone of all ages!!

The show was spectacular. They shock and amaze you with how they portray the animals. Beautiful theatre, lots of leg room The drinks in the lobby are EXTREMELY overpriced. I bought two drinks in a souvenir cup ( I wasn't given another option) and I paid $36. I did not know and I should have turned them down but I am too polite. That was a bummer but the show was great.

The show was amazing, great actors, music and singing was memorable, and watching it on Broadway was unforgettable.

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this great musical.. the makeup , the animal costumes... the scenery... everything about the whole evening was magical !! I loved the way the show characters run up the aisles toward the stage a few times throughout the performance... The young Simba was really exceptional, he really makes the story come alive!! Kudos to him. I would and I have recommended this show to everyone I've talked to !!

Spectacular in every way. A beautiful love story. The boy who played Simba is going somewhere professionally in his young life. He was DYNAMIC and ELECTRIC. His facial expression and energy were captivating. On another note, I was very surprised to see people buying and eating "treats", as one would do in a movie theater.
