Love coming to the Commodore, never a disappointment. The Strumbellas rocked the venue! Incredible!
Show was a little disappointing. There was trouble with the sound for the first half. Hard when they use a lot of harmony, but you can only really hear the leads voice. You'd think this would be straightened out before the show. Also, just generally lacking in energy. They tried to get the crowd into the show in the second half, but when the band hasn't really put a lot into it, you can't expect the crowd to. Maybe they just had a bad night.
Great show to be at! I had an really good time all along :)
The Strumbellas in my case gave me a great show for the third time. I have now them in Montreal 3 times and every time, they seem to be getting better. Can't wait to see them again!
Great concert, nice place, well organized, easy to find.
Whitehorse played for way too long. They're good, but opening acts should warm up the crowd, not tire them out. The Strumbellas took their time coming out, but were great fun when they came out, as always.
Incredible performance!! Hope they come back to Toronto soon!!
We loved the show. Great venue. The Strumbellas were engaging and had some fun showmanship. We'd see them again for sure.
FREAKING AWESOME! Both bands were spectacular and fun. They interacted well with the audience and always had great things to say. Instagram video on pattyloveship
Absolutely awesome show. They are so great to see live, their album doesn't do them justice. If you like them at all, SEE THEM LIVE ! you won't be dissapointed
Sunday was the second time we've seen The Strumbellas live and they did not disappoint! This was a high energy show with great crowd interaction. They did slow it down for a couple of songs and that led to a very intimate feeling. And The Zolas were a great surprise to us. Very upbeat music and a perfect complement to the main act!
Awesome concert. Can't wait until they return!!!!!
Strumbellas were great as expected and the Zolas ripped it up! The Burt was a great venue too.
They are one of the BEST Bands EVER Live. They are so grateful to perform here. I love love seeing them live. They interact with audience, I will always see them. I just wish there was a space to dance.
Very pleased with the show put on by the Strumbellas. Had three seats located at the front row of 1rst Balcony. In my opinion, that's the best spot to watch from in the place. I find the building to be poor for concerts, getting in and out isn't a strong point for the Burt. If you want to stand to watch a song/show - it's not generally allowed in the balcony's and I've found they let some people (pay extra maybe?) stand at the front of the stage and not others, they need to stay at their seats. We arrived halfway through the opening act. I'd only heard a single song ever before from the Zolas, played on radio. Wasn't impressed by them, and won't be upset if I don't see them again. They had good energy, just not into their kind of music. Way to much synth. Strumbellas came on, and I was super impressed! I'd seen them once before, and it was the same fun energy. They interacted with the crowd, and did a great job of entertaining. I will for sure be going to see these guys again!
The Strumbellas know how to put on a show. They sound great, are energetic and entertaining, and they really engage the audience. They stood right at the edge of the stage to perform one song acoustically, and sounded amazing! I would love to see them again.
We saw The Strumbellas Dec 6 in Owen Sound ON at the Roxy Theater what an amazing show! The band was fantastic and they genuinely looked like they were enjoying themselves. What a refreshing sound their energy on stag was infectious.. Well done
I was blown away by this band at the Winnipeg Folk Fest and was incredibly excited to learn they were returning to Winnipeg. Their show at the Park was fantastic, they are truly a treat to see. They also know how to pick a killer opening band, as The Provincial Archive was amazing. Looking forward to seeing The Strumbellas again!
