by Condan on 2016-08-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

What can I say about Sunday August 14th seeing the Tragically Hip at ACC in Toronto...it is hard to describe these guys and I am almost a speechless. Such an awesome group of talent with a poet at the helm. I wouldnt have missed that concert for the world, truely thankful I was a part of this although a bittersweet situation it was 2 1/2 hrs of heartfelt awesomeness!! Love these guys and so proud they are all ours....Proud Canadian!

    Simply Magical!!!

by KingerIII on 2016-08-21FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

The first time that I saw the Hip was in Burlington 1990 at Clancys Live. This is that last time that I saw the Hip. In between there was a lot of shows, but this one. This one was special! I have never witnessed the bravery and unselfishness that i witnessed that night! It will live in my memory forever.

    A night to remember...

    by 80sRockFan on 2016-08-20FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

As we waited anxiously for the band to make an entrance you could feel the electricity in the crowd start to grow. When it finally happened, the response was overwhelming. Cheers were loud, tears were many but the band and the audience came together to celebrate a great Canadian Icon. Gord Downie and the boys put on a show that will not soon be forgotten. They touched on some of their greats, some of the lesser known and some of the new. All in all a spectacular night that I was proud to be a part of.

    Canadianna Family Affair

by penamn on 2016-08-20FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Took my 20 something kids to the Hamilton Hip show to show the experience of enjoying and saying goodbye to one of Canada's seminal bands. The show ran the range of emotions and was out of this world when they "played the hits" and every soul sang along. A good time was had by ALL!

    The Hip in the Hammer

by AisleSeats on 2016-08-19FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Concert was pretty good but i was expecting more. I was expecting Epic but is wasn't. I really wanted to love it more but they didnt really do anything to put it over the top. This is just my personal opinion. Maybe others loved it. I was more impressed with the crowd than the band

    Awesome Energy!!!

by Tenaj on 2016-08-19FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

No denying that this show had the best crowd energy and you could feel the love for Gordie! His showmanship was amazing, he sang his heart out and the band played first rate. Had a couple of weepy moments but overall it was a great big party and love in. Loved this band since the 80's but like every band there are some songs I'm not especially fond of...they played a lot of them Tuesday night in Hamilton... Only thing that left me wanting?? SET LIST! Missing from the concert: Blow at High Dough Wheat Kings 38 Years Old New Orleans Bobcaygeon Boots or Hearts 3 Pistols Little Bones Locked in the Trunk of a Car Looking for a Place to Happen Nautical Disaster This would BE my set list. Oh well , there's always Kingston show on TV Sat night.

    Tragically Hip...priceless

by Dovergirl on 2016-08-19FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Show was amazing. Surprised they didn't play Blow at Highdough or NOIS. Disappointed that I couldn't get a Tshirt as they sold out of a few and the lines were extremely long. Wish they had a few more vendors. But super glad I was able to be part of this tour!!!

TRAGICALLY HIP DELIVERS LAST ACT WITH PERFECTION

by foodboy on 2016-08-17Air Canada Centre - Toronto

with the extremely sad diagnosis of gord downie, the lead frontman delivered a moving and energetic show friday night. the band sounding better than ever enabled gord to deliver his last act in his way for his fans. we were allowed to say thanks and goodbye. sad and surreal as i have never attended such show that the performer was gravely ill. glad i had the chance to see them one last time. the band was tighter than ever. for the the first part of the show staying close to gord in a circle. at the end of the first set gord kissed each member of the band on the lips to show his love for them. gord gave it his all which was incredible considering how sick he is. this must have been one of the good days as the performance was a 12 out of ten. i pray for you gord and your family. i pray for some kind of new protocol to help you. thanks for all the music and good times.
