About
The Vegabonds on Tour
Nashville-based Southern rock outfit The Vegabonds have logged more than 400,000 miles in their over 10-year touring career, but that hasn't dulled their enthusiasm to get back on the road and rock out with their eager and ever-growing fanbase. Brimming with authenticity, energy and raw talent, The Vegabonds first formed after meeting at Auburn University in Alabama in 2009, and quickly found themselves greeted by crowds of hardcore fans singing along word-for-word to early hits such as "Georgia Fire" and "Shaky Hands." Through word of mouth, their profile skyrocketed against a backdrop of self-released albums and an unfaltering ability to bring the house down night after night with their powerhouse guitar riffs, earnest songwriting and sounds evocative of The Allman Brothers Band and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
The Vegabonds Live in Concert
Now signed to Blue Elan records, with five records under their belt and credited with opening slots for such legendary acts as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the late Gregg Allman, The Vegabonds' hard work and talent have certainly not gone unnoticed. On top of countless shows in the Southeast and visiting every corner of the United States, The Vegabonds have toured Europe three times and played multiple dates in Canada. The Vegabonds have become a festival staple, delivering stellar performances at SweetWater 420 Fest, Magnolia Fest, Sunfest, and Taste of Randolph, as well as securing regular slots at Mile of Music and the Peach Music Festival. The Vegabonds are fronted by lead vocalist and songwriter Daniel Allen, with Richard Forehand (lead guitar/vocals), Paul Bruens (bass), Beau Cooper (keys/vocals), and Bryan Harris (drums) rounding out the quintet.
