The Veronicas Tickets

This was my first time seeing The Veronicas live and was afraid they wouldn't live up to my expectations, but they were quite energetic and engaging as a live act. My only gripe was that at times the music was much louder than their voices. I suppose this had to do with the fact they'd been on tour for a few weeks already at this point, but maybe the sound crew could've turned the girls' mics up? The highlight of the night for me was actually The Pretty Reckless. I did not know previously that they would be opening, and I'd only seen videos of Taylor Momsen's singing chops via fan-recorded videos. I must say her band was quite good and I only wish their set had been a bit longer!

it was a short set but there was lots of energy in the crowd. Ticket was cheap so really can't complain about much about the concert. Unfortunately no merchandise was available. I'd see them again.

the veronicas were so awesome! i would definitely see them again, and would pay double the price too. they are worth it. they sound just like the cd, and are so cool.

Great concert. Love the girls. Only problem was the sound. I hate when the bass/drums/instruments/sound in general is a lot louder than the microphones. We could barely hear anything they were singing unless it was a slow or acoustic song.

On stage at 10pm for 1 hour. Would've loved a few more songs but can't complain. They are AMAZING live! Sounded just like their album. Highly recommended. I'm sure they could've booked a larger venue due to their increasing popularity. Love the Vs. 4*

The opening band Carney was amazing, but the Veronica's stole the show. With a great set list and tons of enthusiam there was nothing boring about their performance at Circa. The only downer was that their mics were not very loud so we could not hear them sing more than half of the time. I would see them again and again!

I did not know a lot about the Veronicas before. I have to admit that I did not know what to expect and I was blown away. The girls have a great chemistry on stage. Their songs sound way better live. I did not own any of their albums before and I purchased one at the show!

Arrived at 10pm, security selectively ID'ing patrons. Not ID'ing females, only selected males. I was in a group of 7, and only 3 ID'd. I happened to forget my ID, so went home to get it. Security staff rude and abrupt. As were security inside the venue. Veronicas came on promptly at 10, so missed first 20mins of show. Not sure why they sang Untouched, Take Me On The Floor and Revolution upfront - would have thought they'd have left these until the end of the show. But, being an Aussie, had to support the girls - plus love them and their music.

I was so pumped to see this show since they've finally come to Toronto! I absolutely loved their first CD but they never gave a show here. Two issues however that were most likely not the Veronicas' fault... 1) They took WAY too long to come on stage, it was probably the slowest moving transition I've ever experienced 2) Their mics were not on loud enough and most of the upbeat songs, they were drowned out by the band On the bright side, they have really good stage presence and audience interaction and when they sang to acoustic accompaniment and you could really hear their voice, they were just amazing! Sounded better than the record! LOVE THEM but the background people have to work better on the execution of the show!

The girls sound great live, and the bands pretty awesome, the startup band was pretty good and cute too; hey we were jamming for a good cause! It was awesome!

We found the Veronicas were in town a couple days before the event and we took the chance to get tickets. We were impressed with these gals from Austrailia and my whole family attended the event from ages 7-41. Excellent show considering the conditions of the location. Now don't get me wrong Station 4 gives a live band the same ambience as CB-GB's back in the day; but it was a sauna. The roof vans were not even working. This mad ethe concert somewhat uncomfortable. Many people chose to skip the first two bands due to the heat. The truly dedicated stuck it out for the whole show but there was grumbling outside. The girls stole the show from the get-go with "Untouched" right off the hop. The band works well with them and they are full of piss and vinegar for the whole set. Big thumbs up! The drummer was a speed demon and entertaining to watch. They worked the stage and the crowd well. Experienced bunch! I would go in a heartbeat again!
