Will remember their live performance for years!

by Tuonela on 2011-02-11Phoenix - Toronto

In my opinion their latest album didn't sound as great as the first ones though live performance at Phoenix in Toronto proved me wrong. They did phenomenal and sounded way better live as on CD. I was be able to pick up new elements and feel the dimension of every song they performed. Would I ever go back to see them again? Definitely, I'll be there every time they come around!

Third best walkmen show I have ever seen

by RedMoon on 2010-10-11The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

First was at La Sala Rossa in Montreal And second was at Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. Ham was foaming at the mouth and doing his thing and it was perfect as usual. Pete playing the rickenbacker was such a highlight but all hands and the cook and new country stole the show once again. Thanks Walkmen

    not too shabby

    by tiki16 on 2009-07-25Lee's Palace - Toronto

Hey all, saw the show, was pretty good. had some memorable songs. Leithauser 's vocals were incredible! Very cool voice. KInda Bob Dylan but yet lyrics are discernible. A couple songs were really slow. Not sure the crowd was totally into it. They only played for 1 hour, with an encore????WTF I wasn't blown away but it was still entertaining. The horn section drowned out the rest of the band. You couldn't even hear the keys. All things considered I did enjoy it. I rate the show 3.5 stars. I wish they played We've been had.
