The vocals from these ladies are INCREDIBLE. Typically I research the opening bands beforehand but I didn’t have time for this concert. Holy sh*t they BLEW MY MIND. I have never seen a drummer do what Paulina does. The vocals Dany are insane too. Ale is so rad. Together it’s actual magic. I’m obsessed. I haven’t stopped listening to them since the show 3 days ago.
I was a meet and greet fan so was able to get very close to the stage in front of Ale. 🤗
Great weather and we arrived on time so the queue outside was painless. Security were helpful and polite. Entry with the Ticketmaster app was slick. The Warning exceeded my expectations. The opening act was tolerable. I brought earplugs for my daughter and myself. Maybe the venue should have had them available? The opening act was cruising at 110dBA and The Warning were louder. Standing was fine except for the young men that used pogoing as a way to force themselves forward in front of me then push me back. Some hard shoving and elbowing fixed that. All in all, a fun night out.
The Warning is outstanding! I have been a fan for a while thanks to Sirius XM Octane who have really done an excellent job promoting these sisters. We knew the show was going to rock from the sound check. LOL! For a full hour, the girls were outstanding, never taking a song off. It's my first time in Velvet Underground and I personally loved it. Fits something like 300 people and I am huge fan of small venues. Beer prices are fair. Sound was terrific. I go back in two weeks for the From Ashes to New/Memphis May Fire Tour. I can't wait. The Warning comes back in November, touring with 3DG. I will be seeing them FOR SURE! I strongly suggest you see The Warning. They bring it!
