    Still Great!

by Rudy on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Although half the band is dead and the remainder are well aged, they have re-invented themselves in a major production. They are still very capable and they have a large and wonderful catalogue of tunes to choose from. thanks, Scotiabank Arena for padded seats and friendly staff. The beer is very expensive, but hey, it is a tourist trap kinda thing. On the whole, a great time!

Once again….The best live band on the planet!

by Sri on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Absolutely amazing how Roger Daltry can still hit every note and scream like he did over 50+ years ago, and how Pete Townsend can still have the energy and play every song with such emotion and perfection. They are truly The Gods of rock! It’s a shame they could not play for a few more hours! Amazing concert!

    Bucket List Concert

by Bump on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I have been waiting since the 80s to see The Who live and I finally got that opportunity this year. The show was amazing and while they didn't do all the hits, they still had an impressive setlist. Roger can still belt out the notes and while he doesn't have the range he once had, it was still awesome to hear that scream at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again. The banter between Pete and Roger was also entertaining through the show. While they've had dozens of "Farewell Tours", something is telling me this could be one last kick of the can for this group, so if you get a chance to get out and see this tour, do it, I know I'm glad I did.

    Crazy VIP Infiltrator

by Shawngirl on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Concert (the Who) and the venue (VIP section) staff (Monica and 2 ladies by entrance to lower restaurant) were A+. I only gave 3 stars because 1/4 way thru the show a group of people (a very obnoxious older lady) showed up and parked themselves in seats directly behind us that, unbeknownst to any of us/staff, didn’t have VIP access. Older lady proceeded to stand and scream non-stop throughout every song and was clearly highly intoxicated. I get that she’s excited and anyone who knows me can tell you I am good-natured but, this lady, was extremely annoying. The staff kept looking over at her but never approached her/her group to enquire about tickets/pass or to tell her to calm down. Then as I was recording on iPhone (1/2 way through show), she banged into me (again; not cognizant) and knocked my phone out of hands down under/between seats. I told her what she did and she didn’t even apologize and continued to carry on like an idiot. I told the staff and they said as it was too far down I had to wait til event over/people left, to have someone retrieve my phone. The ladies in vip section saw I was distressed and as I went to get a beverage kicked her and her posse of infiltrators out. When I got back to seat they told me she was out of control, and turns out she wasn’t in (didn’t pay the $$$$ we did) to be our section. The whole thing made me upset and wondered why I paid so much for my seat when an idiot like her could just come park herself anywhere, act in the in appropriate manner she did and inconvenience me like that. Shame on her! Watched remainder of concert with no camera/phone. As people left they came with a claw stick mechanism and retrieved my phone. It was on record entire time and died shortly thereafter. I walked straight back to hotel and luckily didn’t need my phone for anything more that night. I loved the staff at the venue and the music but was really disheartened by the fact I flew from Yellowknife, paid a lot to see the Who and wasn’t able to capture many pictures or videos to keep as memories. Makes me wonder why I paid so much money to travel to Toronto to have an enjoyable experience and access to decent seats when people like her/her group can just mozey on down from general admission and park themselves wherever they choose and behave like that. Not so sure I will ever buy VIP seats again… Shawn

    Just love the Who

by The Chuck on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

As expected I really enjoyed The Who, my all time fabulous band, that o have seen several times before. For old fellas they were great, and hit magnificent sounds. The backing musicians did a super job, and the use of an orchestra provided extra depth. ( plus also some earnings for young musicians). Two criticism’s Would of preferred some of their earlier songs, my generation, Magic bus, etc. never keen on those Middle era songs. Secondly As finished at 11 I missed the airport train, and had to pay 60 for a taxi. An earlier time would of worked better. Finish at 10.30, or midnight. But yes I would certainly go again. Location was fine, and Still my all time favorite band.

The Who Scotia Bank Arena 2022

by Fred on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Was A Bit Confusing At First,As I Never Had Paperless Tickets Before. I Got That Sorted Out. Ushers At The Arena Were Very Kind And Helpful. Was A Great Performance From Steven Page. Amazing Performance From The Who. Seats Were Very Good. View And Sound Were Awesome. My Only Concerns Were The Prices For Merchandise. Cost Of Food And Beverages. Distractions When People Were Going To Concession Stands, As Some People Were Going Quite Frequently. All In All It Was A Memorable Night Which I will Always Remember. Hopefully The Who Can Return. If Not They Certainly Left Toronto On A Very High Note. PS. The Concert Pricing System That Is In Place Is Totally Out Of Line From What It Used To Be. Examples Are Aisle Seating ,Premium Seating. Price Flucuation For Seats. In My Opinion This Is Wrong.

Awesome show, Pete still plays a mean guitar 🎸. Roger still has that voice after all these years. The orchestra completely compliment the band.

Best Who Concert in many years

by KJC on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I have seen the Who many times over the years - back to the 1970's. This show was phenomenal in all aspects. Roger Daltrey's vocals were as good as they were 40 years ago. He was able to hit all range levels including the famous 'scream' for 'Won't Get Fooled Again'. I read that he had vocal cord surgery in the last year or 2. Obviously it worked. Pete Townsend was perfect on guitar and it looks like he's had shoulder surgery as he was doing his trademark 'windmills' constantly. The rest of the Band was very impressive as well including Zak Starkey on drums. The orchestra was excellent and this added a huge element to the show all the way through. The sound system was spectacular. Crystal clear the whole show. I saw the Who a few years ago at this same venue but this show was a step up in all aspects for sure. To see this performance 'live' you would never know the band members ages. I took 2 people that have not seen the Who previously and they were 'blown away' by the whole show. I can't say enough about this performance. I'm extremely happy that I bought the tickets early and had great 1st level seats looking over to the stage. I would go to see them again in a heart-beat.

    Still Rocking

by Record Man on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Great show . However I found that the orchestra did not blend with band. When the orchestra left the stage I felt the concert really came to life.

    Exceeded Expectations

by TT on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Everything was exceptional. Roger's vocals were a wonder and Pete was in rare form on guitar and with his patter to the crowd. The orchestra was a perfect addition.

awesome gig. They brought the atmosphere from the 60's to the present time. It was like traveling in time. The power and rebel spirit of the counter-culture are still vibrant in their music and performance. Simply magnificent

I was wurprised how great it was! Afterall, they're pushing 80. Some fantastic musical high points. Glad I didn't miss it. Excellant sound production, top support musicians. I doubt any Rock concert could be better produced. Faithful creative musicians.

    Lack of volume

by Jayd on 2022-10-06Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The show was great except fir the lack of volume, the sound system lacked so much that you could easily have a conversation with somebody 2 seats over without even yelling.
