About

Theory of a Deadman is the first Canadian rock band to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 2002, Theory of a Deadman has blazed their own path with multiple-platinum albums in Canada, and 2008’s Scars & Souvenirs became one of their bestselling albums worldwide when it reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200 chart. Known for their rock anthems and introspective ballads, Theory of a Deadman have found success in Canada and abroad with chart-topping singles like “Bad Girlfriend,” “Rx (Medicate),” “Lowlife” and “History of Violence” — all of them topping Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The Canadian rockers have toured worldwide with bands like Nickelback, Mötley Crüe, Bush, Shinedown and Skillet.

  • THEORY OF A DEADMAN IS F'IN AWEOMSE!

by Anonymous on 2014-11-24Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert I've been to in years. Very intimate setting at the Burton Cummings Theatre and the seats in the front of the balcony were the best spots with the best sound. Can't wait until they return for another show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sound was ruined

    by Smilly28 on 2014-11-23Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 2 out of 5

Bass was turned up way too loud. The entire concert sounded tinny. Sound was fine for the first 2 bands but when Theory came on it was terrible.

  • Theory rocked it!!!!!!

The show was fantastic, they put on a great live show, it was my first time to see the band, enoyed their music for a lot of years. They played all my favorite songs.

  • Loved It!

by UnintentionalFan on 2014-11-20Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic!! Great sound. Great light show. Great energy. Great interaction with the crowd. They played a wide variety from their very first song to a few of their brand new ones. The Jub atmosphere was a little awkward compared to Rexall, but people were rockin it out all the same. I would definitely go see them again!!

  • Awesome As Always

I seen theory of a deadman in kamloops a couple years ago and I gotta say this time was a lot better. Great venue choice and doesn't matter where they play they are one hell of a band.

  • Another kickass performance by TOAD

by RushFan on 2014-07-31Guelph Concert Theatre - GuelphRating: 4 out of 5

This was the 5th time I've seen TOAD, and it was as good as the other 4 times. Great small venue. Good mix of new material, hits from earlier albums, and even a very cool cover of an STP tune. Only bit of criticism was that the bass was too much, and in a small club it sounded distorted.

  • Great Rock Show

    by Terri123 on 2014-07-31Guelph Concert Theatre - GuelphRating: 4 out of 5

It was great seeing Theory of a Deadman up close and personal like this....they really are a personable band. This band never seems to disappoint.....

  • Theory was great!! What a venue to see a band!!!

by Anonymous on 2014-07-30Guelph Concert Theatre - GuelphRating: 4 out of 5

Show was great! Theory delivered all their hits, new stuff, and some acoustic! Hall was fantastic! And they didn't gouge you too bad for a drink!!

  • I loveTheory!

by ilovetheory on 2013-02-28Hamilton Place - HamiltonRating: 3 out of 5

I have seen TOAD six times...we even have an autographed guitar from their Road to the Juno tour ;-) the last time we saw them was at Hamilton Place and we brought our son for his first concert. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing show. The sound was horrible and we were stuck in the row where our seats were. We didn't get tickets for their last show at Hamilton Place because of our experience the last time. Hopefully they will visit again soon...just somewhere else love from a true die hard fan

  • by Anonymous on 2013-02-27Queen E - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely love TOAD!!!! Big Wreck was great too. Only complaint - the Queen E sucked for the venue. Please don't have your next one there. Sound was terrible.

  • Big Wreck was amazing....

    by tommyBoy123 on 2012-12-28Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

I have waited a long time to see Big Wreck and they rocked. Ian Thornley is the man. They got this tour backwards as Theory of a dead man should have opened for BigWreck.

  • Big Wreck is amazing

by sleighml on 2012-12-21Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

As always, Big Wreck/Ian Thornley was amazing. It is an absolute travesty that Ian Thornley and the amazing musicians he plays with have to open for Theory of a Nickelcreed. Ian has more talent in his baby finger then that entire band does collectively. It was great to finally see Ian in a venue with such great sound. His voice sounded incredible. Its too bad the crowd was mostly TOADM fans and didn't seem to really get Big Wreck's music.

  • wicked show

the opening band big wreck was so talented. they make playing their instruments look as if it takes no effort whilst playing sexy hard melodies that just soothe the soul. the main event ofcourse was great any band who knows that the fans make their lives possible will always succeed in pleasing. all songs by both of them sounded so perfect it was a wonderful night
