Based on the crowd applause, and standing ovation, I am obviously in the minority. I found the overuse of the "F-bomb" totally unnecessary, and distasteful. The latter half of the show improved, both in lesser use of such language and more humourous skits.
He was funny from beginning to the end! This is why we go to see him whenever he comes to town.
Best comedy show ever! Just wish it was longer!! I had a great time though! Definately going back next time!
From the 1st minute we started laughing, and did not stop until the last! Tommy Tiernan was exceptionally funny. Not for the easily offended - thankfully, we are not.
Tom Tiernan was brilliant. My boyfriend was rather enjoying the fact that i was still laughing all the way home and retelling his jokes and quirks. I especially enjoy the reason behind the red ballon. Rather good idea id say. The sound man was not in form that night however as he didnt turn the mic down when Tom Tiernan was being rather loud.... that was a real turn off for my boyfriend as he was enjoying the show until the sound guy went into sleep mode.
Fast paced and energetic show which was very intelligent in its comic view. Tommy told stories of small Irish towns and made us understand their quirks. He was punchlining jokes that few comics could ever accomplish. His open-ended stories were brilliant. Who could ever tell a pointless story and make the story funny. Quite an accomplishment.
What a great night out. He is amazing !!! Laughed allnight.
Tommy never disappoints! He had my whole family laughing so hard, there were tears! I would recommend this show to anyone(with the obvious exception of children).
Nonstop laughs, start to finish. I would reccomend to anyone.

One crazy dude. If you like commedy like I do, and you want to see a comedian that will have you rolling on the floor with laughter, you have to go to a Tommy Tiernan event.
He is such a consummate performer. Irreverent but insightful on what it is to be Irish. Loved every minute of it.
I have never laughed so hard and for so long. His accent, his delivery, his humour is wonderful. I hope he comes back to Toronto soon.
Tommy has amazing, totally unforgettable! His energy is magnetic, his Irish sentiment is hilarious and cultural, and his ability to make fun of himself and others fantastic.
Tommy was hilarious. His use of the F word is amazing and he says it with such passion. His stories are really funny. The faces he makes are incredible. 1st time I have never seen an opening act but it didnt matter.
As a gift to my mother I bought tickets to see Tiernan as I loved his brand of Irish comedy. What I got was an evening full of F-Bombs and worse. Literally, he had to have used that word 250-300 hundred times. Don't get me wrong ...the occasional profanity is fine. This actually interfered with his material..the show sucked and I heard others talking about their disappointment as they left. I can't even think of a favourite moment as there were more F & C bombs then actual words.
From beginning to end, we were cramped over laughing. Such a great story teller. I would recommend seeing Tommy live anytime.
Tommy Tiernan was so funny! His sense of humor is second to none. Absolutely loved him and the venue for him at the winter garden theatre in Toronto is perfect! Intimate setting and good sound. Well done would definitely see him again.
Tommy was absolutely great - great insight , great laughs . I would go again in a heartbeat !!!
