No matter what genre of music you prefer to listen to, or if you've even heard him sing before, any time you have the privilege to see Tony Bennett live you will never, ever forget it. A musician with unquestionable skill, range, and humor Tony Bennett is the ultimate performer with six decades of of touring experience under his belt. No musician has done more to popularize the American songbook than Tony Bennett, and with stellar musicians like Gray Sargent, Lee Musiker, and Harold Jones ("Count Basie's favorite drummer"), you'll hear a cross section of American music history including jazz, blues, swing and even country. Tony Bennett is an artist in the truest sense of the word- he gets better ever day, every month and every year, always learning and developing, experimenting and constantly creating. Watching Tony Bennett will make you love music more, whatever music you enjoy. Frank Sinatra called Tony Bennett the "Greatest singer in the World"--he was right, but what is frightening is the that he is even better! now.
Tony bennett gave an amazing performance for a man of his age. The musicians accompanying him were totally amazing!
How come Tony Bennet can remember the words to so many songs and our politicians have to read their speeches?
I must say that Tony Bennett is absolutely amazing live in concert. He is so talented and so awesome!!!!!!!!!! I think that I was one of the only thirty year olds that attended LOL!!!!! He sang his hits and some others too. I highly recommend seeing him while you have the chance.
Mr Bennett has gracefully aged and become the grand master of performers. There is only the audience, the musicians, and a desire to entertain. Definitely worth the time.
I could not believe the clarity and energy of this man. He was almost mesmerizing. You could have heard a pin drop during his performance. He had the audience in the palm of his hand.
Enjoyed the performance. Tony Bennett is a true gentleman - very moving experience - a sincere man who seemed to enjoy the evening as much as his audience.
Wow, wow, wow! This was without a doubt THE best concert I have attended in years! Tony is a genius beyond words.
Tony was great - still a consummate showman, puts on a wonderful show. Back-up group was first-class, but Tony's daughter - "an aspiring jazz singer" - unfortunately should not have been on the same stage.. We would have enjoted the group warming up instead of her.
It was nice to see him - he's very personable & warm on stage, but the sound was not good (voice? volume levels? not sure). His daughter was the opening act, which is a nice idea, but not big in talent dept.
It was truley an amazing experience to see Mr. Tony Bennett perform live, he was great, has not lost any of his spark.... I would recommend everyone go see his show if He should return to Rama, The "Crooner" will bring a smile to your face and a dance to your feet, He has an amazing band with him aswell, A MUST SEE!!! I am 48 and I took my Mother who is 76 and we both truley enjoyed the performance......Oh, bring a pilow to sit on the seats are kind of hard LOL !!!
Awesome concert. My wife and I in our 30s, received the ticket as a gift because we're big fans. We got more than expected. Tony Bennett's performance was one of the best solos we've seen and heard.
I have never seen Tony Bennett before and I have never been to Casino Rama. I really enjoyed the venue. Excellent sound, and the seats were good and the Casino staff/ushers were the best that I have ever seen and I have neen to a lot of venues over the last few decades. Tony's voice was pretty good. At 83 years old, he is a pure entertainer. I thought it was touching that he has his daughter Antonia open up the show for him, and the band was excellent. All in all a great show in a great venue.
Tony Bennett was amazing. For a man of his age he hit the high notes and sang very powerfully. He sang almost all of his hits as well as some great old standards. His quartet was great-excellent musicians with great arrangements. He came across as a warm caring person who obviously loves his profession as well as pleasing his audience. The only negative was the commotion caused by late-comers who were noisy. The casino should have closed the doors when the show started. Also, a lot of older people left early and caused more noise. Why they left is beyond me and they missed a great set of music.
A great show - Tony still has the showmanship to woo an audience. I had forgotten how many hits he had and it was great hearing them again.
Being my 5th time seeing Tony live was as good, if not better, than the first time. His stage presence and depth of repetoire makes him the best performer of his genre. He is a living legend, and I look forward to the next time I am able to catch him live.
Sept. 10 TONY BENNETT: Great sound, the very best accompanying musicians, lose his daughter quickly, his charm exudes but the voice for an 83-year old man has not surprisingly declined; too many breaks while the band played on and Mr. Bennett rested and watched. In the meantime, the cheap floor creaks and sways and the customer seats get an F. If Casino Rama wishes to imitiate Las Vegas, do it right!
the best show!!!tony bennet was amazing!!!his dauther was pretty good too
Great show. His piano player was awsome. I took my Dad and he really enjoyed the show.
