Well, what can I say? I have been waiting years to see Tony Bennett live, and he did not disappoint. A master showman, a set of pipes that show no sign of the veteran singers 83 years, a cool and comforting demeanor, and an all around fantastic time. Beautiful songs, timeless, and a quartet that knocked my socks off. If you get a chance to see Tony, do it. It isn't seeing a concert, it's experiencing an event.
Tony Bennett's performance last evening evoked many wonderful memories, and allowed my mother and myself to revel in an era gone by. She remembers being a young woman who would appreciate the lyrics of Tony's songs, while I was reminded of sitting in the bathroom watching my father shave, being serenaded by the song I left my heart, in San Franscisco. Tony transcends generations and musical genres. How do you label a master? How do you explain that beautiful voice to someone who wasn't in attendance. His energy on stage belies his years. His musical entourage visited musical perfection. Thank you for bringing back a legend and contemporary, all in one performer.

What a wonderful evening! From the staff at the South Shore Music Circus to the great performance by Tony Bennett, it was great. He sounded fantastic, played for about 75 minutes, and was totally engaging. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone. It's a great spot.
