Toronto FC History
Toronto FC played their first season in 2007 and became a perennial MLS Cup playoff contender after adding Italian soccer star Sebastian Giovinco in 2015. In his first year with the team, Giovinco became the first Toronto FC player to win MLS' Golden Boot, MVP and Newcomer of the Year awards, en route to the team's first-ever playoff berth. The team reached further success the following year by reaching the MLS Cup Final, then won the championship in 2017. That victory, coupled with their winning of the Canadian Championship and Supporters' Shield matches earlier in the year, made Toronto FC the first team in Major League Soccer history to complete the rare feat known as the domestic treble.
Toronto FC have been most dominant in the annual Canadian Championship, in which the club has taken home the Voyageurs Cup eight times, including in 2020. Individual player accolades include Rookie of the Year for midfielder Maurice Edu in 2007 and Most Valuable Player for attacking midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo in 2020.

Toronto FC is the city's first Major League Soccer team and the first Canadian team in the league. When BMO Field, the team's home stadium, opened in 2007, it was already the largest soccer-specific stadium in Canada. The venue has since expanded to accommodate over 30,000 fans. The Eastern Conference team's most vocal and visible supporters club, the Red Patch Boys, started rallying online back in 2006 before the team had even played its first match.

Just impressive, first FC game. Brought my daughter and granddaughter to their first FC game and it was jut a great game vs Philly. Crowd was amazing and reminded me of watching football in the Netherlands.looking forward to seeing a game next year. If you haven’t watched Toronto FC live go grab some tickets and you will be hooked.
Each time I go see a game, I have those undeniable faith on these guys that they wind up scoring goals at the the end of second half. I see people leaving and am like “well that goes to show how y’all are in relationships, no faith” SMH. Then boom surprise they score and tie or win 👍. Always a pleasure watching TFC!
I had my first visit to the TFC Stadium and was impressed with the setup. I am disabled and use a wheelchair to get around, though still found it easy to move around and the seating was setup with lots of space. Accessible washroom was in a great location and had ample room for my chair and PSW. Sadly TFC lost, but was still an enjoyable event.
Rubbish Soccer. Terrible ambience. This franchise is in deep trouble and there are no short term solutions.
Great crowd experience but terrible level of play ! High school soccer played better
The experience, from looking at & selecting seats, was fairly smooth & effortless; i loved the ability to see what view we would have from our seats. The only improvement i would suggest is to denote that the section was bleacher seating. Our view was phenomenal & likely better (i felt) than some of the upper bowl seating, however had we known the seats were bleachers (& cold/un-padded), we could have brought some cushions, blanket, etc. to help us be more comfortable.
Great experience, the energy in the stadium. The fireworks
Despite the cold yesterday, against Charlotte FC everything about the game was great. Our seats were somewhat affordable and we’re able to enjoy the game for the whole 90 minutes. 1 request to make stuff a bit more organised and heaters for the stadium, but despite that had a great time
I got to the ground around 7:15 for the 7:30 kick off and saw that the queues at the front of the ground where about 50/60 people deep so walked to the back of the stadium to see if the queues were shorter. I was informed by a member of staff that I needed to go back to the front. Not a problem. I queued for around 20 minutes and then when I got to the front, I was informed that you’re not allowed in with bags. I was confused as I’d just seen dozens of people walk in with bags with someone just taking a quick look inside them. I asked why I wasn’t allowed it as it only contained a hat and gloves and they’d just let people in with bags and their response was just ‘no bags, you have to go to Section 3’. I even said you just allowed the person in front of me in with a bag and they just shrugged their shoulders. I was frustrated that the initial person I spoke to couldn’t have told me this but I walked back to section 3 and was then told I had to check it in for $10. I asked the people at the bag check in why some people are allowed in with bags and others not and they pointed to a picture showing which bags are allowed. I then pointed out a couple of people walking in to the stadium with backpacks and asked why they’re allowed them and the response was ‘Well someone’s probably just not doing their job’ and ‘I either pay the $10 or leave’ Finally got in to the ground having missed the first 20 minutes, we then take our seats to find someone sat next to us with a backpack full of food and drink. I asked how they got their bag in and they said that they come to most games, always with a bag and never have any issues. It’s annoying that I had to deal with this but if that’s the policy then fair enough. However what I can’t tolerate is them not abiding by their own policy and just picking and choosing when to enforce it. Staff are extremely rude and won’t be going back
Not sure why these tickets are sold when the weather is so cold and there is no heating at all. We couldn’t even stay the whole time to enjoy the game due to the minus temperatures. There was even snow where our feet were, which made it even worse. We love soccer but unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience.
Wonderful experience at the TFC game, super friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Millwall fan on holiday, enjoyed it apart from Toronto losing. Friendly fans that i spoke to not sure about the ultras we don't have or need them at Millwall.
Due to CNE, we wasted 2.5 hours to find a parking, with CNE and a soccer game at the same time, organizers must plan for better parking lots. All lots were full, so we wasted time trying to jump from one parking to the next.
Truly outstanding experience! Energy is amazing, family had a wonderful time. Making great Memories in Toronto @ BMO Field. Could not ask for anything better!
Everything was so organised and ticketing was smooth and easy. Nothing to worry about just scanned the tickets from the app in few seconds. Thanks Ticket Master Canada for such an amazing experience! Will definitely continue to use the app to book more events.
Overall a great game. The product is greatly improved. Officiating not so much. Both TFC and LA Galaxy played well. I was greatly impressed
Long wait after ordering, seems like the kitchen staff was behind the on all orders. Missed all the opening ceremony and about 15 mins into the game even though I was there 15 mins before kick off.
I am from the UK, I was on holidays to Canada and visiting family in the same time. Me and my two boys Jacob and Isaac are football supporters, Jacob is 15 and Isaac is 13 , they both play football with their clubs in the UK. They both have a great knowledge on footballl and all the teams across the world. We decided to the most of our holidays and watch the TFC vs New England game. The booking on linevwas so easy and straightforward, we recived informations and our tickets very quick. On arrival to the stadium we did not have any issues the staff managing the lineups were very professional and helpful , they were very pleased to hear that we are from the UK and we are here to support TFC. We git to our seats with no problem at all, evenbthe supporters were veey welcoming. The start of the game was fantastic with fireworks and national anthems. The game was great and the atmosphere was a grat experience for us. The only thing we were dispointed with is that the days leadind to tge gane we looked in all the sport shops to by TFC red Jerseys and we found no availability at all. When we git to the stadium they were $198 each befor tax!!!!!. So we wentback to England without a TFC Jerseys. We dont know how long we will be back to Toronto (3_5 years) but we wish the team and the club all success. Thank you
Everything was excellent. Good seats good weather and good atmosphere. Only downfall was the referee was horrible. But we won with excellent goals by both teams. I was greatly impressed by the play. Going again for sure.
