    Smokin Show

by Anttimary on 2024-02-20The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Amazing show! Absolutely awesome. The musician ship was the best ever seen. Made us feel like we were at Mardi Gras.

    Great band, poor timing

by Shorty on 2024-02-20The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I thought the band was great however I was expecting them to start at 7pm, not have everyone wait till 9pm. I couldn't stay for the whole thing because I was starving and tired. It would have been a better experience if they either started on time or made it clear they would start at 9 so I could plan accordingly.

    TS is amazing.

by Pete on 2024-02-20The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Trombone Shorty just keeps getting better every time I see him (fourth show). The Danforth Music Hall is a kick ass venue. One thing, wish I could have heard the vocals bit better.

Terrible sound, no opening act other than DJ

by Tomtheslacker on 2024-02-20The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Sound at first row mezzanine was a garbled mess. I do not know how people in general admission didn't strangle the DJ that was on for 2 hours before the show. Best song was was when only 2 instruments were playing,. Rest was a ridiculous pile-on of buzz and solos that were disappointing, to put it mildly. (With the notable exception of the pianist). Left after 45 min.

    Shorty was King—Not cash

by Bonehead on 2024-02-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Shorty and crew blew the roof off the concert venue. Indefatigably talented but the bar refused to accept cash. I thought it was still legal tender. LiveEnt needs to accept cash.

    Amazing talent and energy.

by Cebo on 2024-02-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Absolutely loved the arrangements, and jazz and the funk! The arrangements were stunning and the energy poured out into the crowd! I have never seen a band with this combination brass talent and power. However, I found the vocals were lost in the bass, and the keys were set up but only used for one song. I could barely make out any lyrics and the volume was over-powering. They did not need it so loud with all that talent and energy. But i would definitely see them again!

    Trombone Shorty

by Ram on 2024-02-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

The show was awesome. Venue is good. But I wish that Danforth Music Hall would post the showtime as well as the time when the doors open. Supposedly posted on their social media sites on concert day, but not there. Waiting over an hour for the show to begin is unnecessary. Just post showtimes please.

    ….TOTALLY FUNKED UP

by @samhinthecity on 2024-02-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Friday’s show was outstanding. Loved every single note and beat. Trombone Shorty and. Orleans Avenue just ridiculously good. And it was the perfect venue, too… Didn’t matter where you were standing or sitting, you were close to the artists ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Trombone Shorty was brilliant

by DCW on 2024-02-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Note the title. Only 4 stars because of 45 interminable minutes of an unnamed DJ as the opening act.

Trombone Shorty great, worst warm up peformance ever.

by Robbo on 2024-02-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Trombone shorty and group gave a great performance. Security at The Danforth is heavy handed and over the top. A DJ as warmup was an absurd waste of time.

    Lifechanging Concert

by A Dog on 2024-02-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

As a musician myself I was in awe at their energy and synergy as a band and with the extended jams including dueling solos. I haven’t listened to a lot of Trombone Shorty but I knew I would be in for a treat seeing them live but I had no idea! I’ll even road trip to see them again.

    Trombone Shorty-didn't fall short!

by noona on 2017-11-04The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I had heard the name only through the Toronto Jazz festival. Don't let the trombone fool you..this band brings a mix of New Orleans jazz, rhythm and blues, funk and rock to the table. A very talented group of musicians who individually showcase their skills and tend to play off each others notes so well. You will find yourself dancing and getting lost in the rhythmic beats right from the start.
