Trooper Tickets

My boyfriend and I are in the just under 50 club LOL and we were Extremely happy with Trooper show on Saturday Night at Grant Fuhr Arena. We live west of the Grove and it was awesome to attend such a great concert and NOT have to go to the city. We had a Fabulous time and really hope the Grove hosts many more events like this.

Show was fantastic! the opening band freeburn was pretty good too! the only complaint is waiting in long line up for tickets, then another line up for drinks in which only had beer by the time we got there. that part was not organized very well.

Trooper played their hearts out at the Spruce Grove agrena Saturday night. The crowd was very involved and impressed. The noise level hasn't been that great since the last Saints play off game :) They were true to their sound and to the fans. A fantastic time was had by all.

These guys put on a wicked show, great gift for the "Mom's" for Mothers Day :) "Arrive. Raise a little hell. Leave." THANK YOU!

the show was great , the food was great , the dance was boring, it went on to long ., what can you say, trooper was the high light of the night

both bands performed hard and seemed to really enjoy themselves. Loved the 'tuning up' by chilliwack. brought back memories from the early 70's. only one song I didnt recognize. awesome evening and well worth the price. almost 4 hours of entertainment.

Overall the event was ok but I called ahead to get the times for the event so I could coordinate a limo. They said the doors opened at 6:30, they didn't open until 7:30pm. They said dinner was at 7:30 it didn't start until 8:30pm They said Trooper would come on at 9:30 and play until 11:30pm and come back on at 12:15 until 1:30. They didn't come on until 11:00 and played until just before midnight then came back at 12:15 and played until 1:00am. It all worked out but I had set expectations with the rest of the group and nothing happened when they said it would. The food was pretty good and very nicely presented for a buffet for that many people.

Trooper disappointed me. Third time seeing them perform, and this time was the last. Ra was off on timing and out of tune. He was very close to the microphone and the vocals were overpowering. The band left the stage twice during the show (?). Not very professional. Makes you wonder what these guys were on..... Chilliwack was amazing, first time seeing them and I really enjoyed it. Would see them again.

Great Concert! Chilliwack exceeded our expectations!

Chilliwack was good. Trooper was awesome. Ra McGuire has the most powerful voice I have heard in a long time. Too bad the people sitting around us were more interested in taking pics of themselves, talking and drinking. Completely ruined the show for us. Also, was not aware of General Seating when I ordered the tickets considering we were given a row and seat numbers. We will never attend an event at Century Casino again. Too disorganized, poor lighting, poor bar service and bad set up in the room. No parking.

Chilliwack what can you say except that they are pure raw talent at its best. Absolutely worth seeing at any time. I have seen this band on 3 different occasions and they are top notch each time. Trooper seemed to be off key in singing or playing. They were joking around more than a band should. I would see them once then wouldn't pay again. Their talent is nothing compared to Chilliwack..

Absolutely PHENONOMINAL!! Even MORE than I ever anticipated! Would go again in a heartbeat! Brought back many memories from my early years!

Not a lot of energy in the show. A short 1 song encore ! Expected more , considering it was new years eve.

Band overpowered Ray MacGuire. Couldn't hear him most of the time. The instrumental solos were lame and boring. Would rather have heard some singing. When we could hear him he was awesome. Concert was too short to be worth $52.

Trooper always puts on an amazing show! The only thing about this evening that I had a problem with was the venue. It was New Years and although there were a few party favors left on each table, there was no "bubbly" available for sale at the bar to toast at midnight and the wine that I did purchase came in a disposeable plastic beer cup. The liquor selection at the bar was minimal also. As for Trooper, always a good show wherever they perform! 5 stars for Trooper. 1 star for the venue.

Canada Day, July 1, 2011. Cloverdale, British Columbia. I could not believe both Harlequin and Trooper playing for our Canada Day Celebration here in Cloverdale. Harlequin opened with a stellar performance, Then came Trooper. We have enjoyed their music for almost 40 years now. Ra McGuire's distinctive voice sounded just like he does on their albums. They played all the favourites and a new song from an upcoming release. It sounded great. They had the audience rate it and it was a hit. Brian Smith is so cool. Brian on guitar, Ra on vocals, Gogo on Keyboards, fantastic, Scott Brown on Bass and Clayton Hill On Drums. Trooper-2011. With a new remastered Greatest Hits album out "Hits From 10 Albums" celebrates the 35th Anniversary. They make Trooper stand the test of time. More Canadian music that will hold that timeless sound. New generations will hear Their music and fall in love with it like the first. The close to two hour show was finished with a spectacular fireworks display and Ra and the Boys did a meet and greet. They all signed my Hotshots album, Posed for pictures and signed the T-shirt I picked up from them. It's a great feeling when they recognize the fans and take the time to say Hi and Thank-you. Thanks Trooper, Keep On Rockin!

These guys STILL know how to rock! It's ALWAYS a good time at a TROOPER concert!
