Waste Management Phoenix Open Tickets

I can cross this off my bucket list. Would I do it again? Not this event. There was too much promotion for partying and drinking. Not enough focus on golf. Don't get me wrong, I truly enjoyed my time. I have been to other tournaments and they are more professional. I'll pick a different tournament next time.

We decided to go on Sunday instead of Saturday. What a good decision! The crowds were much smaller. We had no problem getting onto #16 in the morning at 9:45 & didn't have too long to wait for the players to come around. The weather was fantastic. It was great that they allowed you to bring in your own water - saved paying $4 a bottle on the course. Beer was expensive - $8 per can. Had quite a few interesting displays in the entrance tent. The course looked to be in excellent condition.

If you want a loud booze/social party, you got one. This IS NOT what GOLF is! If you want to watch Golf, pick somewhere else. Unless, you choose the holes WITHOUT all the hoopla. I DID NOT see a lot of golf, but I did see a lot of back ends at every moment that there was! There might have been 600,000 people all week, but only a quarter were there for actual golf. Case in point is Saturday had over 200,000, but Sunday showed how many were there for Golf by only 55,000 in attendance. The rest were probably nursing a hangover, or participating in the next booze fest--Super Bowl!

Going to the WM Phoenix Open was the hi-lite of my vacation. It was a fabulous golf day. The even was well organized and well run. There was plenty of food concessions, washrooms and great areas to watch from. The event was clean and well kept. Lots of souvenirs on hand to purchase if you wanted. It was next to impossible to get to the 16th hole unless you wanted to stand in a long line, but other holes were just as good. Parking was a non issue with the shuttle buses to take us to the gates. I would definitely go back again another year to watch.

I would avoid going on Saturday. 200 000 frat boys and girls. Hard to get food or beer

Event was well run. First time there and will be back.

My wife and I went on Saturday and Sunday, Saturday we got a seat at 16 which was lots of fun. A crazy experience, the only bad thing about staying there is there isn't enough washrooms, for the amount of people, and for how many are drinking. the line was crazy long. However still cool, just need more washrooms. Sunday we followed groups around and got good spots at greens, that was awesome. We had more fun on Sunday. We will definitely go back!!

The phoenix open was an experince that was exciting right to the last hole. I would suggest this golf tournament to anyone that is into golf. and yes i will go to another tournment problably a different one to say i went there too.
