The Waste Management Phoenix Open was a great day. Traffic coming home to Apache Junction was terrible, but with so many cars at the same time that is to be expected I guess. No one has control of the weather but it also was great. Lots of neat things to do at the open but for me seeing the golfing close up was the best. Good day all around.

by Marshy1 on 2013-01-30TPC Scottsdale - ScottsdaleThe whole picture was perfect on Monday except for the glitches on parking off the 101 as Bell St. public parking lots were closed without notice and no other directions to get to another lot. The Volunteers and Onsite workers were outstanding and very helpful. For future first pro-am tournaments, the pairing sheet should include the Professional's name with the group/hole#. It does not have to be on a fancy paper but it helps as the Tour Caddies like to carry the bag with the name down and always set the bag down on the green so you do not know who you are watching.

by Balfette on 2012-02-07TPC Scottsdale - ScottsdaleAn event like this could make a golf fan out of you!! My husband and I went, as his part of the trips events. It ended up being allot of fun. The 16th hole was a blast!! I would go back again and say to all wives... "Give it a try." And don't forget your tickets to "The Birds Nest" an after event that completed the day.

by Happyhacker on 2012-02-06TPC Scottsdale - ScottsdaleWe had a fantastic time at the Phoenix Open. It is extremely well organized, with plenty of well-maintained restrooms, great viewing areas, lots of bleachers. We loved that there was no trash anywhere and how well they managed the recycling and composting with almost no garbage created. If you're a golf fan, don't be put off by the large crowds because most of them are partyers who spend a lot of their time at the beer tent! The 16th hole "the noisiest hole in golf" is a must-see experience. We spent a whole day there and watched the entire field come through from amazing front row bleacher seats - awesome.
